I must be a glutton for punishment since it took me the better part of 3 weeks to catch up with my Hanukkah challenges, and I only just finished them today, BUT I've had this idea rolling around in my head (or as aheatfan/Kristen would call them - popcorn ideas).
In March, on my birthday in fact, my DGS who recently turned 13 will celebrate his Bar Mitzvah. (I've already told him how excited I am that he is having a big party to celebrate MY birthday. LOL) Anyhow, I've thought about offering 3 or 4 challenges - associated with an explanation about some part of the celebration or ceremony. I've got a few ideas, but I thought I'd see if there was interest before really fleshing them out.
Let me know if this sounds interesting. Thanks!

Always interested in reading and learning and you have great challenges. Having said that, I may be MIA for awhile as I have 3 weekends away from home between March and April but I will participate if I can find the time sure!

I'm definitely interested to learn more and participate!

I was thinking of continuing with tu b’shevat snd Purim, but clearly I haven’t done tu b’shevat. I can still do Purim and Passover if you would like but I don’t want to take your challenge. Bar/bat mitzvahs sound like a great idea

I would definitely allow an extended time to complete the challenges.SandyK1967 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2025 2:45 amAlways interested in reading and learning and you have great challenges. Don't know if I'll participate... I had intended to do at least 1 of the Hanukkah challenges (had the idea even, just had to execute it) and it didn't happen.

YES!! I'm always up for challenges and have loved learning about Hanukkah. I would love to learn more about your religion!

For sure. It’s always educational to expand one’s knowledge.

I want to say bring it on, because I LOVE to learn new things!
I'm totally game on learning more about this tradition. Whatever you decide to do Karyn is fine by me.
