Nuvo drops with stencils?! Do you make dots in the stencil or solid lines like Stickles? And how do you clean your stencils? This Nuvo addict wants to know! :) :) :)

Enjoy your day off! Too bad we can’t get paid to stay home and create! :)

Hola cherries! A beautiful day here. The front made it this far south and we were 55 this morning. Warming up fast as it was already 66 an hour later, with our high expected to be lower 90s. At least there's no humidity and not a cloud in sight. Lookin' forward to tomorrow's front where we will be in the upper 40s for lows; 70s for highs. 😍 😍

Vacummed bedroom and washed doggie blankets. Went on my walk and been working the last couple of hours. Work was okay yesterday. Not the best, but not the worst either. At least I wasn't brain dead. Hoping for a decent day today.

Have a great day everyone.

Glad work is going fairly well for you this week!!! Those are some wild temperature changes! But MUCH warmer than we will be this week. :)

Hooe today is another good day!!!

No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees, no fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds-- NOvember!Β
β€”Thomas Hood, English poet (1799-1845)

good morning. Β Grey and cold here. Β Rain, heavy at times, 4 of the next 6 days starting tomorrow. My boys are coming to dinner tonight so I will get my car back. Β Errands tomorrow-grocery, post office, JCP, Costco etc.Β

my cat apparently didn’t miss me. She won’t let me pet her or pick her up. Β She won’t come inside to eat. Β Neighbor sat outside on the patio with her twice a day and fed her out there!Β
I don’t feed her outside cause of neighbor cats and raccoons and also I don’t set with her while she’s eating either. Β  But neighbor was thinking Rosie might b lonely so made feeding time visiting time too. Β  Oh well, the rain will help her change her mind and come in when she is hungry I’m sure. Β lol

have a tolerable Tuesday.Β

Β
That quote is a good one! Lol! Your cat is mad at you for leaving her. Lol! She’s got a good catitude about it. And your neighbor spoiled her too. Hahaha! They’re such funny animals! Enjoy your dinner with the boys tonight!

Re: Scrap a Day, November 19th
Hi Cherries! Winter is OFFICIALLY here. Woke up yesterday to a dusting of snow. Then it snowed late in the afternoon and we had about half an inch. Then it snowed again last night and we have 3 inches now! And the temps are going to be in the low 20s and high teens the rest of the week! The snow was NOT in the forecast at all! However it was nice to see deer tracks in the snow in our driveway! No clue if it was a buck or not but hopefully it will come back when we can see what it is.Β

I finished the antibiotics on Sunday morning and called the doctors office yesterday because I still feel icky. I have to wait till tomorrow afternoon for an appointment. I took some Tylenol yesterday afternoon and it totally knocked me out. So I never got to my layout. I’m going to take it easy today. Just folding clothes and finishing the laundry while I do my layout.Β

Have a great day Cherries!

Those temp swings sound like what we deal with here near Chicago.Β  CRAZY!Β  And that's why I end up with bad allergies and stupid bronchitis all the time.Β  The warm / damp / cold /dry.....my body just doesnt handle it well anymore
Β Β

If I'm not careful and the humidity drops TOO LOW (anything below 20%) I can get nose bleeds. And migraines. But I take alot of preventative measures.Β  So far, so good...

Good morning!

Nothing much going on lately.Β  I'm feeling soooo much better!Β  I think I made it through the worst of the bronchitis.Β  Thankfully!
I managed to finish all of the Turkey Trot challenges.Β  Just a few more of the monthly challenges I would like to finish and then i am hoping to spend the 4 day holiday weekend organizing and cleaning my scrap corner.Β  And making a wishlist for Christmas.Β  Β :)

Today I hope to make a final grocery list for Thanksgiving and figure some games to play.Β  I'm so glad my Mom and siblings will be spending the day with us!

have a great day!
So glad you are feeling better. And what a great accomplishment finishing all the TT challenges!

I love using Nuvo with stencils too!Β  I've been trying to use my stencils a lot more lately - especially since I have a huge stash of Nuvo and now stencil butters.Β
I definitely want some more Nuvo and I want some stencil butters, too! 😊

I put dobs of Nuvo down, and use an old card or palette knife to smear/wipe it down the length (or spots) of the stencil. I love the glossy effect! 😊
