I’ve got a sleeping baby and we’re about to lose power so the guys can put main power to the house! I’ll be around after it comes back on. Have fun trotting today Cherries!!!

How exciting for you Ginni! It is going to be great for you and Steve to have power and be able to move in soon!

Good morning. I dragged my DH to the Craft show at the convention center this morning. It was sponsored by the Art Museum and was more like going to a gallery than a craft fair. He really enjoyed looking at the glass sculptures and enjoyed himself more than he thought. There was an amazing artist that made large pictures that looked from a distance like paintings but were actually woven paper, a technique that I can't even make look good on a card. Lots of pottery, some clothing, some wooden furniture - these people are really talented. We bought a beautiful wooden cheese board.

We walked all the way there and stopped at Trader Joes on the way back and carried our groceries back so that covers my walk for the day. Working in my scrap room a bit, trying to finish the Tonga/Fiji album although I'm not close because I haven't even printed the Fiji photos yet. Sharing a few pages I did yesterday and today:

the market in the capital city (which is more the size of a small town)
Image

the strange place we stayed and the story of why we stayed there

I can't remember if I already shared this one, but my husband is very proud of this photo
Image

have a great Saturday everyone!

Wonderful pages for your album Louise, and that photo IS amazing!

Good afternoon. I went to the crop today but needed to leave early because my back was hurting! We did have yummy chocolate birthday cake for me and two other ladies.

I started four layouts but need some additional stuff that I didn't have. Since my back is still hurting, I'll finish up tomorrow.

I hope your back feels better Chris. And yay for chocolate birthday cake!

Hola cherries! Been super busy, taking care of things. Worked yesterday until it was time to go to the DAR Meeting. It was actually a DAR "Tea". They honored a local veteran who served in Vietnam. After he was honor. d/c'd, he served on the police force for 34 years. Retired and moved onto to being part of the funeral services for the deceased veterans who are buried at our Veteran Cemetary. In 10 years, he's been at over 4,000.

Since it wasn't a meeting, it was short (just a little over an hour), so I made it home sooner than I thought. Before 5pm. DH worked late again, so afterwards, we went out to eat. Then home to relax. Up early, started laundry, made a quiche for breakfast. After we ate, DH left to go to work. He has a deadline on Tuesday morning and got about 50% done yesterday. So he's hoping that he can get the rest done while nobody is at the office. So he was at work by 9am. I left to go get cat food at PetCo, then to Champs Meat Market to get some steaks for tomorrow night. Back home, and finished up cleaning and doing laundry. My bio dad came over to visit and give us some venison (about 5 lbs).

While I had the last load of laundry in the dryer, I got started on scrapping. TT #1.

I'm hoping to move onto another challenge. It's only 3pm here.

Have a great day cherries.

Hi Cherries!

Been another busy week at work and here at home.  I am working today on washing all the bed linens and towels.  My sister is coming for a week.  Why do I always think I have to rewash everything?? IDK!!! But I do!!
I am cleaning, did some food shopping prepping for her visit and Thanksgiving. The grocery was crazy already.

I was able to finish up Black Friday Challenge 2 this morning.  I am not sure about it.... might be too busy.

Image

ok-- back to the cleaning....
have a great day!
I think your layout is totally lots of fun! I love how you put in all the ACOT headings and the scrappy brand logos!

Awww thank you !

Good morning all. I am completing my favorite weekend morning ritual. Sipping tea and organizing my day. We have a lot of cleaning on deck since we are hosting Thanksgiving, and then attending a play that DD worked on. But I am hopeful this evening I will have time to play. I want to make some mini albums for a craft show--although I'm not officially signed up for one this month yet. Maybe that should be my priority.  lol

Oh, how neat that your DD worked on a play! ☺️
Making mini albums sounds fun! Lol nevermind that I have some to finish- I would most likely buy some of I saw them at a crafts fair!! 😉 I hope you get signed up for that fair, too! ☺️
Enjoy your day!
I finally heard back and am in the craft show! Yay! I can't wait to try out my idea for the mini albums, I'll be sure to share here :)
