A Cherry on Top

Scrap a Day, November 16th
Hey Cherries. A big thank you to Vicki for the amazing day yesterday. I unfortunately got delayed at my doctor. My follow up was fine he was just so far behind. Between waiting for so long, traffic to and from, and an errand I ran beforehand, I didn’t get much time on the boards or to work on my challenges yesterday. I did get to catch up on the Turkey Trot activities when I got home. Thank you to Vicki for the amount of time she gave to play along.

Today the girls have a follow up vet appointment. Then back to working on my challenges when I get home.

Have a great day Cherries.

Morning.  Last full day at DD’s in Florida.  Lots planned today of course. lol   Not really feeling up to all the activity around here today either.  Kind of wish I was already home where I can putter around in my housecoat all morning and not get dressed till time to wander down to the mailbox mid afternoon.  Oh dear that sounds like whining.

Anyhow lol. Have a super Saturday

Re: Scrap a Day, November 16
Good gosh, I slept in until almost 8am. That’s unheard of around here. I was tired. Going to drink my coffee and get out for another walk today, since they say a high wind watch for tomorrow. I did get my muffins made yesterday and sent a bunch home with DD last evening. Sewed a cute apron for the minion. And played along some with the turkey trot. Fun day.

Not many plans for today. Told DH he is responsible for dinner. Try to do that once a week to give me a break. Leftovers are ok. He is just in charge.

Looks nice out right now, just chilly at 22F. Will be layering up to walk.

Good luck to the girls today!  I am glad that your visit was ok - besides the delays and traffic- boo!
I also did not get to play yesterday either.  Lots going on with work and then I was just plain ol worn out.
I hope to do some challenges though!  WAY to go Vicki for all the inspiration that she cooked up for us!!
IT IS AMAZING!

I hope that you have a great time although busy busy.  Soon you will be back with your robe and kitty and all your scrappy goodness! 3weeks is a long time.... but when you live so far apart it is understandable that it is longer.
safe travels home!

you needed the extra rest, and sounds like you had a very busy day!
Stay warm on your walk- I am not looking forward to those cold days, we are not there yet.
Great that you get a day to not have to be in charge of dinner!! Way to go!

Hi Cherries!

Been another busy week at work and here at home.  I am working today on washing all the bed linens and towels.  My sister is coming for a week.  Why do I always think I have to rewash everything?? IDK!!! But I do!!
I am cleaning, did some food shopping prepping for her visit and Thanksgiving. The grocery was crazy already.

I was able to finish up Black Friday Challenge 2 this morning.  I am not sure about it.... might be too busy.

ok-- back to the cleaning....
have a great day!

Good morning all. I am completing my favorite weekend morning ritual. Sipping tea and organizing my day. We have a lot of cleaning on deck since we are hosting Thanksgiving, and then attending a play that DD worked on. But I am hopeful this evening I will have time to play. I want to make some mini albums for a craft show--although I'm not officially signed up for one this month yet. Maybe that should be my priority.  lol

Thanks, Barb!  It's always fun planning even though I had the camera card glitch.  I did figure a way around it for the time being.  My DD is my IT person and she is in FL for 10 days so when she is here for Thanksgiving she will check it out for me.  Hope you get to some of the challenges.

Enjoy your tea!  I love making mini albums and should really make the time to do more of them.  I am loving the travel notebooks and journal pages too.

I'm dragging somewhat this morning...LOL!  Busy this past week and up too late several nights.  Had the grands yesterday from 5pm until this morning.  Wasn't in the plan, but would never say no.  We had fun and they were so good.  Today, I am cleaning up the aftermath and catching up on the board.  I never nap, but today may be the first!  LOL!

Have a great day, Leslee! ☺️
