Trotting on to the largest Thanksgiving Day Race in Massachusetts....Will Run for Pie.  The Feaster Five finishers take home an apple pie while supplies last.

For this challenge we're going to change out pie for some other fun desserts.  Be inspired by one of the following desserts while creating your project.  LOs (both paper and digital), cards, journal pages accepted.

Submission MUST BE NEW and can be combined with the 30 Creative Prompt Challenge and one other November board challenge except the Rewind Challenge. It must be created during the posted Turkey Trot dates of 11-15/11-29 to be eligible for the prize GC.

*Winner will be chosen by Random.Org and will receive a $5 GC to the ACOT store from me. If there are more than 25 entries, I will choose a second winner to receive a $5 GC also.

This is a cool challenge.  Love it. Aaagh I won’t b home till very late on Sunday night.  I want my scrappy stuff now!  lol

My inspiration was the plate the chocolate cake is sitting on.  I remembered I have this Anna Griffin China Cabinet paper collection and die cut set.

I was inspired by the layers in the 2nd image:



I used scraps and added trim to mimic the photo and my granddaughter's dress.
Mad that I managed to cover up most of it...lol.

I chose the stacked cake. The striped paper makes me think of the cake layers, the wonky hearts represent the fruit topping, and the raspberry and seeded fruit made me think of enamel dots. And doilies are like the fluffy frosting.

I chose the second image. The horizontal stripes on my page represent the layers on the cake and the enamel dots represent the berries

I used the turkey snack, turkey and colors for inspiration. Combined with the Nov/Dec Pet challenge.

Here is mine.  I was inspired by the first dessert, although the critters were turkeys, mine are dogs.  I even got my Copics out to do the noses and eyes to mimic the colors of the candies.  Thank you!

I took inspiration from the layered cake. I used strips of pattern paper to create my background for the layers

Here's my card, inspired by the colors in the turkey chocolates photo.

I used the layered cake which inspired me to use all the layers of paper and the color blue for the berries.
