Hello from cloudy but warm Central Florida.  DD lives in a small town just a bit north of Orlando called Altamonte Springs.   nice little town and good place to raise my grandkids.  lol. But hardly ever gets cold here at least not to my standards of fall and winter weather.  DD ended up here courtesy of her first DH and the US military. Marriage didn’t last long but she’s been here most of the last 30 years. Lol oh well. She’s happy

nothing going on today.  I can’t take really long walks here cause of humidity but I manage a few shorter ones as well as walking down to meet the two younger kids at the school bus stop about 1/2 mile away.   But it’s all good

have a terrific Tuesday

Charleneanne, that’s how my daughter ended up in North Carolina. It’s a nice place but it’s 2 hours from the airport. I’m glad you’re enjoying your visit!

Sooooo..... my word for this year was health.  Made a commitment to make all the long overdue appointments and get everything checked up and fixed up. In regards to that I took a BIG step today and scheduled my total knee replacement for June. 2 days after school gets out.  I have put this off for waaaaaaay too long.  I am scared but excited to finally be taking care of this.  Hope everyone is having a great day  😊

Kristin I’m SO glad you’re getting your knee replaced! I had one done several years ago. The main thing with your recovery is do the physical therapy!!!! The more you work those muscles the better it will be later. And don’t make the mistake I did and have the surgery on a Friday! The daily staff know what to do but the weekend staff might not. The most wonderful thing is that I’ve been pain free ever since it healed up!!!

Glad you’re taking care of yourself too!

Re: Scrap a Day, October 29th
It’s a very grey day here. A storm is due in a couple of hours. The birds aren’t happy because we’re not letting them out of their run today. Steve let Raven and the babies out for a few minutes yesterday. They LOVED it until the geese realized they were out and got excited and came flying towards them. Lol! Raven made a noise and they scurried like a flash back into their coop. Hahaha!!! Unfortunately he didn’t get any pictures. I thought I’d trained him better than that!!! Ugh!

I’m working on Christmas cards and trying to do some cleaning too.  The days are flying by.

Hope you’re all having a good day!!!
