Hey Cherries. I have my son-in-law's brother here right now doing a little extra work on my kitchen lighting. When I had the two pendants and the high hats installed the power was taken from the big flourescent that was taken down, putting them on the same switch. It is a bit of a project to separate the pendants from the high hats and put them on their own switch as there is no attic above my kitchen the second floor is above it, so he has to put more cuts in the ceiling and has to cut the wall where the switch is. But I decided since I have to have the ceiling repaired and painted anyway I wanted to have it done. It will be nice to be able to turn the high hats off at night and just leave the pendants on. So I'm excited to have it done. Then later this afternoon I have someone coming to look at repairing the ceiling and then painting it. It's the same guy that painted my house and did my patio. They do good work so I'm happy that they do this too. Then after that I am going to my mom's at dinner time as my family and my sister's family are going over to see my uncle and aunt and we don't want anyone to have to cook so we ordered hot food trays so we can all just eat and visit. Since the grands (mine and my sister's) don't care for hot food trays I am going to mix up some mac and cheese and air fry some dino chicken nuggets to bring. So it's a busy day. I did end up having some time to work on my layout when I got home yesterday and may be able to work on it a bit today in between everything. We'll see how it goes.
Have a great day Cherries.

Quiet day here for us. We washed DH's car and now having brunch. I'm working on organizing my die cuts which have overflowed their storage. That will be my project for today. Tomorrow we have a football game for DGS at noon. Perfect weather too.

Sounds like a busy day, Barb, but it's cool to have a plan! Hope you have a wonderful time with the family!
Glad you've got good weather for the game, Vicki!
Good job organizing die cuts! I've been working on that but took a little break lol!
Hey Cherries
Opened the door to feed the cats this morning and there was a tiny little Grey kitten outside! Lol it was HUNGRY, too! It came in for a few minutes, but got scared and went back outside lol! It's pouring down rain here (my porch is covered); no clue where it came from but maybe it lives here now!? Courtney is calling it Princess!
I've had coffee and Bible study already this morning, so now it's time for me to start getting ready for work!
Have a blessed day everyone!

crazy morning here. I had forgotten that my cleaning guy was coming today luckily he called at 7:45am. But Zach was supposed to bring his car to the shop to get new battery and stuff at 8am and he refused to go because he's tired at that time (what about me, I have horrible jet lag and hadn't had coffee yet) but somehow I went and he let in the cleaning guy, and I got stuck behind a recycle truck so it took forever. I hadn't rinsed out the wetsuits and snorkel gear from our trip and they were a sandy mess so I wanted to rinse them before he cleaned the tub, so after I walked back from the car place I did that. I didn't get to my coffee and breakfast until 10am or so. Then I needed to clean my garden (dead leaves and such) but it hadn't been done before we went away and I had put some of my edible plants there while we were gone and needed to move them back up. This had to be done today because My neighbors husband died 2 days ago and we're having her over for wine in the garden tonight. He had Alzheimers and was in a place since before we moved in so we've never met him, but she and I have gotten close. They're not doing a funeral soon, they're doing a memorial service in a month so I felt like we should have her over now because she's all alone there.
so that's my craziness. and I'm doing laundry now because it's out of control and I want to plant some greens on my roof today before it gets cold or at least soon if not today. And Zach can pick up his own car this afternoon when it's ready.
I really want to finish the graduation album and get started scrapping my trip but I don't see any of that happening today.
Happy Friday the 13th everyone!

Hi Vicki! Yes, it is a beautiful weekend on the East Coast. Enjoy DGS's football game!
Happy Friday the 13th Cherries!
I was really lookiing forward to today, thinking I'd see some movies that I rarely get to see. Nope, the only movie that sort of
qualifies is Cape Fear, which I am watching now. As I am putzing around straitening the house, feeding the girls, emptying the
dishwashing and in the scrap room. Maybe I will check out Netflix later. Its a beautiful weekend here, temps will be low to mid
80's all week! The first chance of rain is next Saturday. Since my cleaners wee just here, the house is still spotless, and I can
focus on scrapping this weekend, and hopefully get to DGS's football game Sunday.
Everyone have a wonderful weekend!

Got up early when I didn’t need to -silly me. today is first quiet day all week. Jeez I’m seriously too old for all the crap that’s been going on around here lately. Mostly I think I’m tired from 5 hours yesterday with my 93 year old aunt. That woman is exhausting. OK enough griping.
Going to cut back the gladiolus today and get them ready for winter
Weather is average today and tomorrow around 90 but Sunday getting down to highs in mid to upper 70’s. Early for those temps but happening again about a week later so better safe than sorry.
And most fun I’m going to get my new Christmas stencils that came in my ACOT package this week and play with making more cards! That always improves my mood.
Have a fabulous Friday!!

Trip was amazing. We were in Tonga and Fiji. Got to swim with whales and lots of relaxing beach time as well. Photos and layouts in the near future I hope.
