Well, she contacted me again on Friday, and she would get a definite YES or NO from her friend by this weekend. This morning, she called me up. Her friend, without a doubt, CANNOT make it. SO...with everything that is going on in my life right now, I will be going on a Scrapbooking Caribbean Cruise with Laurie in exactly THREE weeks!
I will meet her in Houston and stay there, then we go out to Galveston on the 6th. We will be home on the 13th.So, with that said, I'll need someone to post the Scrap-A-Day thread for me on April 5th thru the 14th. I come back on the 13th, but mine and my husband's 7th Wedding Anniversary is on the 14th. So I'll be taking that day off as well.
My mom will be down by then, so she can help DH with our furbabies, so they'll be in good hands.
I am SOOO excited! Laurie knows as well as you all know that I soooo need this. And a couple of ya'll cherries already know this, but my blood pressure has been so high in the past 2 1/2 months that my dr is putting me on blood pressure medicine and I have to take my blood pressure 3-5 times a week and keep a log. Which, IMO, isn't all too surprising since my father dropped a huge bombshell on us back in early January, along with stress from work, financial strain, some health issues with DH has arose, and worrying about my brother in law and his own recovery. It'll definetly be nice to just walk away from all the "problems" temporarily.
