Re: Scrap-A-Day, January 30th
Hey Cherries. Got a bunch of running around to do again today, but I do hope to squeeze in some scrapping in between things. We'll see how it goes.

The dishwasher repair man is coming AGAIN for my dishwasher. So glad we put that extended warrantee on it. Oh and they told us that according to the contract, if they can't fix it after 4 visits then we get a new dishwasher! How cool is THAT!

Well they are saying we are supposed to get an inch per hour all the way til noon. So I am sure the commute home will be a slow one too. I only have a couple of last minute things to do on my photo book of my parents and those are dependant on both my sister and DH. They each are supposed to look for a picture for me today.

I can't wait to do the next LO I have in my mind. Here is a brief story - a year or so ago DD#2 put some jar cheese sauce in the microwave and it blew up all over the place. Well of course I took a picture of it. Well just the other day DD#1 put a hard boiled egg in there just to take the chill off of it. She has done this before with no problems. Well not this time. It blew up. Yes, we now have a picture of that too. So I would like to scrap the 2 photos together and do something about Microwave 101 or something on those lines.
That would be a great layout! I have one to add to it....Hil started a bag of popcorn on fire in the micro!! That micro stunk for weeks especially when you used it! LOL

I started about 5 or 6 fires in the microwave at work..  :eek!: Once in a while I get a chicken sandwich for lunch which I heat up in the office.  The guys there will put it in the microwave in the store while they do something else so it gets gross.  Anyways, there's one guy who puts foil under the wax paper.  Know what happens to foil in the microwave?  It sparks and sets fire to the wax paper.  It's a cold sandwich so it makes no sense to use the foil and most of the guys don't do this.  I'm finally in the habit of checking but it took me a while. Luckily there was no damage since I stand right there while it's heating up, but still.

I hope the DW guy gets it right this time but it's good to know you're on deck to get a new one if they can't fix it.

I have been out of pocket for the past few days-- I am here!
Yesterday was upsetting my sweet MAZEE was refusing breakfast -- which is NOT her nature, In fact I don't remember a time when she has EVER refused breakfast. So I took her temp --103.4  So I knew it was vet time. I took a vacation day, and then the vomiting and diarrrhea started.  The vet did some tests but they don't really know sent her home with medicene and wait and see if she is not better then we will do more extensive blood work and xrays etc. she would just lay and moan between going out to be sick and potty and sleep. Finally about 6ish hil came home from work and mazee wagged her tail and raised her head up and seemed a bit better.  She wanted to eat breakfast this morning. I said no siree!! I gave her a bit of yogurt to start out with and see how that works. I gave her a bit before bed last night and she kept that down. The other doggies are jealous as they like yogurt too!! LOL
Murph has settled in very well !
On another note-- I completed my Dec Daily/JYC album over the past weekend. It is 63 pages, now mind you some of these are the 8 x 8 pocket pages and some regular 12 x 12 and some 12 x 12 pocket pages. I hadn't worked with pocket pages at all before and I really had fun using them. They did help me work on some things during the week too as it was easier to work on a small layout over a big 12 x 12. I will have to take some pics at some point if you guys are interested in seeing it.
Then this week I was looking at a scrap blog and saw someone making a mini book from a gift bag.  I thought that would be a perfect thing to do for my friend's grandbaby who I am scrapping (ok-- I haven't scrapped him in awhile because of lost mojo then working on my dec/jyc) ANYWAYS !!! I went through the baby shower stuff and found a really cute gift bag and have converted it to a mini book!! I will attach the pages as a slot in the bottom that I will thread 3 1/2 inch chevron burlap ribbon through and attach on the sides of the book.  I will take pics soon and post. The outer album turned out AWESOMEly cute!! I am happy to say-- I really wasn't sure at first!
So anyways I more than likely will not scrap today but I have ideas......

Oh poor sweet Mazee! I feel so bad that she was so sick. I am glad to hear she is feeling better and I hope she is 100% soon!

Love the adorable pic of Murphy!

And would love to see your DD/JYC album! It sounds wonderful! The gift bag album sounds cool and looking forward to seeing that too!

It shouldn't take long as I'm gonna take most of the new stuff with me so I can work on my step son's album. Grab some solid cardstock and some unopened alphas, some washi tape and my SewEasy and I think I'll be good to go! Image

How about you?
Have fun at your crop Brandy!! Can't wait to see all the great layouts you will be coming home with!

Oh no..poor sweet mazee! Hugs to her. I hope she feels better really soon. My baby Bear didn't eat this morning either. She pottied okay and is wagging her tail when she saw my BFF. So I'm about to try feeding her again.
Oh no! Bear not eating! I hope she ate for you the second time around!

Wow, Brandy, I'd love to go to a crop--haven't gotten away to scrap in a long time!

Today, I was supposed to babysit my bff's little boy while she is at the dr., but last night her DH decided to take him with him.  So, maybe I can get a little scrapping in!!

Good Morning Cherries!

Probably no scrapping tonight as I only got about 3 hours of sleep.  For whatever reason, I just couldn't fall asleep.... so I spent a good chunk of my late night/early morning hours in my craft cave re-organizing.  Lol.  I'm hoping to get my room cleaned up enough for me to do a craft room tour video on my YouTube channel.  I haven't done one since I moved into my new room, so I think it's about time.

I've got all my pics printed for this week's Project Life layout.  I just LOVE being able to print them at home!  I've got them in their place holders until I can get around to doing the layout... probably Saturday night.

Other than that, my plan for tonight when I get home from my Dr. appt is to crawl into bed and call it an early night :-)  I'm so sleepy right now, I can barely keep my eyes open :-(

Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

No...she didn't want to eat the second time around. Image She is drinking plenty of water and sleeping by my feet right now. She got lots of belly rubs and hugs. From me and BFF to my dad and DH. I think it might be the weather. At least she hasn't thrown up and is staying hydrated.
