Scrap-A-Day January 25th
The one day I really go looking for this thread, and it's not here yet! lol  So hope it's okay that I start it.

I scrapped! Granted, it took me bits and pieces of 3 or 4 days to get it done, but this is such a cute kit that I wanted to do it justice. Not sure I did, but I still love the kit!
Image

So what's on YOUR scrappy agenda? Scrapping? I need to unzip a few kits I've bought over the past few days, and then off to proof a tshirt design and work at 7pm tonight, so probably not much more in terms of layouts.

It's a wonderful page, Nancy and yes I'm scrapping the day away. I broke into my Crate All Bundled Up line for Sher's Cherryland Challenge. Image

Nancy - never be afraid to start this thread. With everything that has been going on, my mornings are stressful and even more so on the weekends.

I love your layout. The bright colors and journaling. Its perfect!

Anyways - scrapping for me? Highly doubt it. My sister in law called me last night to say her and my brother would be over here at noon today to get the rest of the stuff out of the small guest bedroom to make room for everything. They moved out two years and left some really heavy stuff in a corner. Anyways, got woken up by my brother at 7:30, asking if him and his wife could come by to take care of their stuff. I reminded him that noon would be better, but not at 7:30. Maybe in an hr or two? But then my sister in law asked if they could do it tomorrow with her having a migraine and throwing up. I'd rather have them do it tomorrow, then doing it while she is sick at 8am today. DH disagrees and now he is in a pissy mood. Anyways, we have almost gotten everything out of the small bedroom, that way BFF can move her stuff in there.

Just opened up my ACOT package that came yesterday. The Basic Grey Fresh Cut line is AWESOME! I also got the little Thank You package with the ever so loved ACOT pen, Lifesavers, and a very cute and appropriate package of Sticko tiny cherries and strawberries glazed stickers. Wooo Hooo!

I am working on getting the rest of the save the date envelopes printed out and then I am taking them to the post office and coming home to scrap! I am in scrappy withdrawal right now.

Brandy what a start to your day. I am sorry you are going through all this stress with the big changes going on. ((Hugs))

Love the bright colors on your page Nancy! And boy those cookies look good!

Good Morning Cherries!

Well, I didn't get as much scrapping done last night as I had hoped.  Hubby was in an accident (some 16-year-old hit him) on his way out for a guys night so I spent my evening trying to get everything squared away with the insurance and stuff.  I did manage this morning to get back into my craft cave to get the layout done that I was working on when he called with the bad news.  We're heading out now since the snow stopped to go get some groceries, so hopefully when I get home I can get back to work :-)

Here's what I got done this morning...

Hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Re: Scrap-A-Day January 25th
I'm going to do the Becky Fleck Sketch tonight. I have been working on my craft room making the finishing touches. I will post photos next week when everything is done. I have some canvas and altered items that I'm working on. I haven't crafted in so long that I'm having lots of fun.

This is the first time working in the room and I just love how I can walk away and not have to clean it up. For years I had to clean up the dining room table after each craft or scrappy session so we could eat. My kitchen is too small for a table so we eat all our meals in the dining room. The best part, if it is too messy I can shut the door, love that Image

I finished up the latest BF sketch challenge this morning.  Then DS had a basketball game.  After that, the kids & I went to town and did a little shopping. Not too fun.  Just got DD#1 a pair of jeans; DS spent some Christmas money on a small Lego toy; I got a few things at HL--ATG refills, some burlap flowers, and a couple of plastic jars to organize my washi tape; and we got groceries at Walmart.

Here's my layout:

DH and I went thru the rest of the stuff in the small bedroom. Now its ready for my BFF to move her stuff in there. So after going out to dinner and watching a movie, I squeezed in some time to work on the cover of my Project Life album. Its a Pink Paislee Mistables 6X9 album that I decorated.

Aw, thanks! I didn't realize how often I bake cookies until one of my coworkers commented on it. Apparently my super power is spreading to work as well lol.

Do you at least get a loaner car until your baby is fixed up new again?

Love this layout!  The bracket frame is really cool, and such sweet pictures!
