It was 2 degrees when I woke up this morning

I don't mind the cold so much, since I get to stay in my nice warm house and my SUPER warm office.

I am hoping to get BF #59 done tonight. but we'll see, Ruby has been a trooper but is clearly coming down with something the past couple days.

We are waiting on someone to come and plow out our driveway. We got about 9 inches of snow, and man it is cold. Doesn't bother Boomer and Twinkie at all though. It was 6 degrees this morning with a wind chill of -14, but that didn't stop the pups from going outside and staying beyond doing their business. Twinkie actually went out again by herself and played and played in the snow and tore around the yard, and stuck her nose in the snow to find her sticks and twigs. She would get all excited when she found one and run and run around the yard. The wind would knock snow off the trees and she would get alert and then run and run around again. I could see her from my window the whole time and she was just lovin' it. LOL. She should have a nice nap this afternoon.

I'm washing doggie towels and things and am about to finish up the save the date cards. DD is supposed to give me all the addresses tonight as she has been working on them. She's typing them up on her computer which will be great because then I can just copy and paste to print out the envelopes.

I hope to scrap a little. I actually started a digi page yesterday and brought up the master list of challenges for the month. Woo Hoo for me lol!


 

LOL! Hearing about Twinkie just cracks me up! THat doggie was made for the snow!

So what challenge did you start working on??

LOL I got as far as bringing them up on my screen but I didn't go through them and pick one yet. I did start on a page with the photo of Twinkie in the fireplace wood cubby, and I'm sure there will be a challenge that will go with that. Right now I'm still glueing together butterflies lol. Oh and Twinkie is out cold on the bed with Boomer right now.

I'm currently downloading pics from my cell phone to my laptop for a layout idea I have. Gotta get busy..still should take a nap before work tonight but not sure that's going to happen.
 

Maybe even a 20-min power nap would help?

I may or may not scrap today. It all depends on how long it takes me to look for my dad's baby photo. I am almost positive I have it but I just don't know where I put it. My sister came over yesterday and she had a baby picture of my mom. I am so excited!!! I scanned every single photo she brought over (more wedding photos of my parents). I would love to start the photo book off with their baby pictures. So far I started it off with a picture of them both in 1962. So now I am hoping it doesn't take me all night to find dad's baby photo. Come to think about it, I won't be scrapping tonight. I only have a week left and this weekend I won't be able to work on the photo book, so that is what I should do after hunting for this photo.
 

I'm so happy for you Mildred! Having your parents' baby pics is sooooooooooooo cool!

If I find my dad's tonight, I will post them both. They were such cute babies

Good evening Cherries!

No scrapping for me tonight . I got home from work and I am just plain old wore out. I'm just going to cuddle up with a cup of tea, my audio book, and my knitting for the night. Hoping my energy comes back soon. I'm going thru withdrawals. Lol. 

Tomorrow night I'm going to shampoo the carpet in my office since my dog has taken a liking to peeing on the floor in there. Hopefully it wil be dry by the weekend so I can get in there and get some mega work done. It's supposed to be crazy cold here for the next week, but I'm willing to risk it so I can get my office back to where it needs to be.

Sorry to hear you had a rough day at work. Work has been crazy for me too these past couple of days. Making some breakfast for dinner then relaxing tonight!

I'm going to be making name place cards for one of my non-profit's tonight.  All those embellies that have been in my Wishlist related to Legos will go into this little project.  40 kids so far.  I'll probably make a few extra.  This year I got Washi tape.

I'll be sure to take photos and post later.
