Re: Your scrapping style?
This question has been asked before, but how would you describe your scrapping style? This can be hard to pin down, so here are some possibilities:

a. straight, linear, clean
b. journaling-focused or story-focused
c. photo-focused
d. artistic
e. eclectic (combining a wide variety of styles)
f. fad experimenting (like to try whatever is new and popular)
g. none of the above (please elaborate)

You may be one or a combination of styles. I, myself, like to think I am c and d, mostly. My layouts are all about the photos and I try to use my artistic streak in every layout. :)
I think I'm b and e.

Re: Your scrapping style?
My Style?! I struggle so hard to be creative....and I am severely my own worse critic!

I am 'A' as it appeals to me.

But I keep trying so very hard to accomplish "E" and "F" combined.

Re: Your scrapping style?
Looking back over the years, I've definitely leaned more toward A (straight & clean). More recently, there's been some D (artistic) and F (fads) thrown in. I've liked adding the variety so it seems like perhaps I'll move more toward E (eclectic). I still fall back to A though.

Re: Your scrapping style?
I'm A, B, and C. I don't like a lot of embellies on the page. I know the idea is to showcase the photo, but the story of the photo is important also!

I am C and F and sometimes A, depends on the pictures and my mood.

Re: Your scrapping style?
I am definitely C)photo based in my style. I would add some kind of "inspiration" style, too--scraplifting, using a product I've seen others use, challenges, quotes, etc.--all things that get my scrappy mojo going. (and usually found here on ACOT and the MB!)

Re: Your scrapping style?
I am totally over thinking this but to me the style and focus of the pages are 2 separate things. My focus is on the story which are of course supported and/or inspired by pictures. My style is mostly simple & linear - I love mixing patterns and colors but I am not so great with embellishing.

So what's that? A, B, and C with a little F thrown in there since I like trying new products and techniques.

And FWIW, I think everything we all create is artistic, so D too.

I'm mostly c and b with a little a and e. I always try to focus on the pictures and put some journaling in.

Re: Your scrapping style?
I am going to combo up here a bit. I am definitely g first. Simple is best is my mode of scrapping these days. I have found if I stick to basics I can get a lot more accomplished. I like to angle my pictures and emblies. My mat may be straight, but the photo slanted. Then there would be C. Photo focused. then B. Journal, tell the story.

I have so much product to use, I don't care if it is old or new. If it works with the photo and subject then it is a keeper.

Nice Topic Laura.

I am none of the above. I would say my style is vintage...not sure where that fits. ha ha..
I want to try the new clean lined, using lots and lots of layering that I see everywhere!
