Re: Curious :)
Hmmm... let's see. I started some back in '96 and haven't finished them yet. Oh wait... is THAT the goal? ;P

I usually complete a LO once I start it. IT takes me about 45 mins. per LO.

I rarely finish in one sitting. Sometimes it takes until the next day until I am happy with it, or find the inspiration I was lacking the day before.

Re: Curious :)
Two to three hours per layout. I don't know why it takes me so long because I'm all about scrapping quantity -- which means I should be doing it quickly to make more -- but I can't seem to do any in less than a couple of hours. (And I've had a lot take longer than three hours.)

This varies a whole whole lot for me. Some layouts are quick fast and easy, a nice quickie. Like 15-20 mins. Other layouts can take weeks with over 100 layers. :)

Re: Curious :)
Takes me AGES!!!

First I figure out which pics I want to scrap, then I hunt thru scrap mags for layout inspiration. Once I have that, I print my pics in the correct sizes, then create a page kit with the papers & embellies I want to use for each planned layout.

Then I can actually get to scrapping ... which usually takes no longer than 1 hour since all the planning is already done and I do quite simple pages usually. If there are more elaborate techniques or things just aren't working out it could take a lot longer. My pages hardly ever end up looking anything like my inspiration page anyway!

I'm a fast & simple scrapper but I do even add embellishments! I went to a crop from 10am to 8pm talked the first 1 1/2 I was there, worked on an etching project and a jeweled/wire dish project and still got 12 pages done on my Disney album!!

Re: Curious :)
FOREVER! I was trying to finish an 8x8 baby book the other noight - left work early to get it done - I did have a bnch of pages left to do but had (so I thought) a pretty good idea what I was going to do...well after 6 hours (no lie) of working on the THanksgiving Day 2 page spread I quit - still not done and really don't like what I did so I may be starting all over again. I love scrapping but I get so frustrated sometimes...how do you gals do these awesome pages in such short time????
