Yep, another LSS has gone under. I hate to see it go but, I did get a few things. I really wanted some Christmas things, but there were only a couple of papers and no embellies. Mostly all she has is school and new baby items. She let me have her cuttlebug and all the plates(?) that go with it for $25. I spent $40, even at half price. Got some wedding things for DDs BFF.
The store was in the same building as a custom embroidery shop and it's owner said she would keep some of the things and still have crops occaisonaly.
Glad you got some bargains, but it is sad to see a LSS close.

Darn hate to see that happen it's really hard to be a small independent sb store owner.
Glad you got deals, but it sure is sad to see the LSS's not making it. I am very lucky to have several good ones less than an hour away. I never even realized just how lucky until coming here and reading about all you ladies who have nothing close! Guess I'll quit complaining about this town I live in lol.
Hate to hear another LSS is closing... but at least you got a few items on sale.
Stacy
And an other one still. My LSS (in San Diego, CA) also closed. They tried really hard to keep it open. They downsized the store, but still could just not make it.
glad you got a few things...but sorry another lss has gone under
well the biggest LSS in this area bit the dust back at the beginning of the year, but glory be, they are reopening end of this week. Same place too.

Sad to hear that a LSS closed. But on the flip side, great to hear about the bargains you snatched up!

Thanks everyone for the replies. The owner said she just couldn't compete with Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Wal-mart, etc. But I'm glad her friend will still be holding crops.
