Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I have a variety of CS. Some lady in our area was moving out of state & I bought everything she had for $100 - including a rolling paper cart, pattern paper, ribbon like you can't believe and of course, card stock (along w/lots of embellies). So, right now I use a variety of CS, and when I had my on-line store, I was purchasing basic CS colors from one of my suppliers, which was their own brand. Granted it's not like Bazzill at all, but it's as good as any other brand and it doesn't have a white core.

Just so everyone's aware - there are only 3 paper mills left in the U.S. Basically, any of the paper we buy is coming from one of those 3 mills. Most of the CS whether Archiver's brand or someone else is being run all at the same time. Yes, Bazzill is different due to texture, but if you look at the basic CS, it's all the same. DH is a printer so I've learned alot about how paper is made, where it's made, etc.

I have fallen in love with Bazzil cardstock too. I've also used DCWV and whatever Michaels, JoAnns or AC Moore has on sale. I'm not picky at all. I would like to try the cardstock and CM sells now, but I haven't gotten around to it. I have heard good things though.

I just purchased some new paper that was on sale at Michael's and I love it. The cardstock is My Mine's Eye. The cardstock is so colorful and cheery.

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I only use Core´dination cardstock. It gives me so many alternatives for my LOs, and I do think the colors of the cardstock is much richer and deeper than Bazzill. I only buy the Mono Brown 5-pack from Bazzill, white cardstock and some black. I am on the lookout for an untextured dense card that I can use for very intricate cutting on my Black Cat Cutter though. Any suggestions?

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I use all types - cheap packs (works best in my cricut), bazzill that I just started buying because it goes on sale at my Joann's quite often, Just by pure accident because it matched what I was doing Core´dination. It really depends on what matches and because it is usually just matting it doesn't really matter what quality it is.

I also like Stampin UP for actual cards.

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I have an enormous supply of CTMH cardstock mainly because I had to order packages and not single sheets when I was making cards. Now that I am scrapbooking I use Bazzill because the colors coordinate with the different lines that I like (doodlebug, heidi grace, etc.) I love the color choices that Bazzill has and the different textures that are available.

I buy a good weight cardstock in whatever color I need. I don't pay much attention to the supplier. It'a all about weight and color.

Re: Tools of the trade (Cardstock)
I mostly have Bazzill, but I honestly don't care as long as it's a thicker weight like Bazzill and matches my project. So anything from American Crafts, Coredinations, Prism (even though they are no longer...), DCWV, etc.

Mostly Bazzill, but I too will buy just a cheap cardstock if it's in a value pack or something. I like Bazzill textured very well, especially for card making.

I usually stick with Bazzill because they have sooo many colors and the coolest names! And so many to choose from of course, then yes there are the different textures...

I will buy anything except dcwv because it is really slippery and my adhesive doesn't stick to it very well.

Bazzill, hands down. I have bought coreordinations, but I haven't broke it out yet and I want to try the stampin' up paper that I've been hearing about.
