Spent the weekend working on cards for clients. I knew I was a few cards short -but dang, forgot abou the newer client list. Back to work!

Just finished 18 more. Now to stuff envelopes.
Re: OT. Kids were off school Friday. I left for parent teacher conferences just before noon and did not come back. Rain was in Sat. forecast - so the plan was to play outdoors and shop with Abby as it was beautiful outside. And make up time and create cards when it rained Sat.
Of course the entire weekend was gorgeous - weather forecasters never seem to get it right! I was at it early Sat. for a couple hrs. Then had to go to Marv's for another photo shoot and then off to a photographers group meeting.
Which means I spent a lot of time Sunday working on these. At least I like watching the animated movie, Spirit, with Abby.
At first I was piecing papers and trying to use scraps, conserve...so we'd have PP left for next year. MAN -that took too long!! I got out a pretty lace scallop punch to make a lacey edged top and put pumpkin paper below, filling in design gaps with tone on tone horn of plenty. I should have photographed the stack but they're already gone - you could have seen the pain in the but the first ones were. Looks like I have some extra pieces pre cut so I can take a photo of an extra.

Amazing! When my boss wanted cards sent, I told him he needed to buy them and sign them himself!! Of course, I said it was for good PR...strangely, once HE had to get them and sign them, we quit sending out so many!!!
I wonder, sometimes, if we ever give God a headache.
