Are your plates getting curved? I'm just wondering if you ever flip them the opposite way to get them straight again or if that would break them.

They get both curved and marked by the dies. You should continually turn them over to keep them as straight as possible. For Quickutz dies I use plates A, C + B, in that order. The B-plates are easier and cheaper to replace!!
