Is there something special about your town or city that you can share with us?  I'm near Sacramento, the Capital of California.  We are located in a valley and surrounded by two large rivers.  We were an instrumental part of the Gold Rush and the railroad that connects the East to the West during the Industrial period.  We have the Sacramento Kings and the RiverCats minor league baseball.  How about you?

The only thing I can think of that this is Brad Pitt's hometown. Yeah not too crazy about it here. LOL 

I live near the birthplace of basketball!

I live in Bryan College Station.  Not great to some but to others we are the home of Texas A&M University

When I look out the front door I see a line of beatiful mountains. When I look out the back door, I can see the Mexico flag. Yes, I live that close to Mexico!

I live outside Rochester Minnesota, Home of the Mayo Clinic.

Where I live we produce the majority of the nation's raspberries!Mandi

Even though it is small (about 4,000), at least 5 famous people and the current governor came from here.

I live 15 mins away from where Frank Sinatra grew up!

I live in Tribeca in NYC which we call the suburbs of Manhattan....great neighborhood for kids.

I live about 45 min from where Michael Jackson grew up. I grew about 10 min from where he did. But I don't like him!

I live on a barrier island.We're a very small town surrounded by others like us.Probably, our biggest claim to fame is that we are the birthplace of southern rock.  You can't throw a stone without hitting someone who is related to a Van Zant.

I live south of York Pa. we are 30 minutes from Baltimore MD and 25 minutes from chocolatetown USA (Hershey PA.) There are hills all around us and lots of wildlife too.Audrey

Minneapolis is the City of Lakes. We've got lakes, rivers, ponds and streams. I now live closer to downtown and miss hearing the waves while falling asleep, but a walk around the lake or by the river is never more than 10 minutes away. (In the spring, summer and fall that is.)

East Hampton, CT (My hometown) is known as Belltown USA do to our bell factories! Bevin Bells has been in existance since 1808

I live in Larkspur, CA. Its a small little town just 15 minutes north of San Francisco. Its beautiful and so green here. Nice quiet area with an adorable downtown area.
