We live in NE Il on the Chain O Lakes where the gangster Capon used to hang out.  They still have a old resturant that he would frequent.  Can't imagine how long that trip took though lol.

I live between Memphis Tn-home of the #1 basketball team in the country right now- and Holly Springs MS. Jan Karon released a new book in Nov 2007 that was called Home to Holly Springs-great book. Would recommend when not scrapbooking! Otherwise I live on top of a hill with a beautiful view-lots of critters running arond, especially deer. Great place to relax and enjoy life

Minnesota really is the land of lakes. Fishing and boating in the summer, fishing and skating in the winter! Mpls has the very best park system - where you can walk or bike for miles around lakes and rivers and never have to cross a busy street.Home of the Vikings, Twins, Timberwolves and Wild.Oh - and don't forget the Mall of America!Barb

I'm in Winnipeg, Manitoba, CanadaA good thing about us, is we are going to be home to Human Rights Museum. Although not quite built yet, it is supposed to be a very beautiful building with unique architecture! I'm excited to check it out myself.As well, we have a SUPER low unemployment rate here. Down to 3% I think.

I live in Blanding, Ut - what's geat about where I live is I am in the "desert" but have a mountain 15 miles north of me, lake powell 1 hour away, four corners 1 hour away, several state and national parks, etc. (Canyonlands, Arches, Natural Bridges, etc.) all within about a 1 hour drive.  It's a very rural area (I ahve to drive over an hour to get to walmart), but it is gorgeous with lots to offer!

I live in Greenville, SC.  We're 3 hours from the mountains (Gatlinburg), 45 minutes from North Carolina (Hendersonville), and 3 hours from the beaches of Charleston (Hilton Head).  The weather here is awesome: it gets cold enough to feel like winter and warm enough to feel like summer, but not too extreme either way.

I Lve In The Only State That Original Marionberries were grown. They Make Delish Pies & Jellies. They are Kinda Like a Cross Between a Blackberry & a Rasberry....so yummy. Angie

i live in a small town but out in the country but i have this view from my kitchen (with the hills of minnesota on the other side of the st croix river)  and then right smack dab in the middle of town (3 1/2 miles from my house) is this gorgeous waterfall!....polaris manufacturing is also only 4 miles from me...you know snomobiles, motorcycles and bikes

We have amazing scenery. We are snuggled between an estuary and the mountains and we have our own glacier that overlooks the town. Heres a pic for ya!

Columbia, SCWe are 2 hours from the beach and 2 hours from the mountains, we had Strom Thurmond,  Gamecocks and Clemson, ummm...yeah, all I can think of right now.

I live in Minneola FL where the historic Citrus Tower is that I can see and hear everyday. It used to be awesome to go up into and see all the beautiful lands, but now I think it should be called the Roof tower, b/c that's all you see now. Other than that, its just what everyone passes by on Highway 27 heading to Disney!
