The winner is: CELTICROSE
Thanks to all who played--there were so many fun surprises!
BE SURE TO POST YOUR CREATION TO THE CHALLENGE GALLERY!!
Don’t you love when a page or project captivates you with an unexpected surprise? I especially enjoy interactive and 3-D elements on cards, albums and folios. Yesterday, Vicki challenged us to apply pockets to a project. That is a great example of an interactive element. This challenge asks you to explore the many ways you can wow your audience with special effects in your layouts.
For this challenge, I would like you to include a minimum of 1 interactive element on your project.
Your project can be a layout, card, tag, journal, or folio. Sorry, due to interactivity being an intrinsically IRL activity, no digital projects.
So, what does interactive look like for paper-based projects?
Flips, flaps, folds, windows, doors, curtains, and blinds.
Slide, shake, spin, pull, push, rotate, reveal.
Lock/unlock, laced, clamped, clipped, hooked, snapped, Velcro or magnet closures.
3-D pop-ups, tunnel layers, expanding layers, diorama.
There are tons of tutorials and ideas on the internet, I am sure you will find inspiration for your project. This is one of the first pop-ups I loved:
The randomly selected Winner will receive this terrific bundle generously provided by Echo Park.
RULES:
1. One entry per participant.
2. Challenge is open to paper layouts/cards/journals/tags/folios. No digital layouts.
3. Post your project to the DrSonja Interactive challenge gallery.
4. NO COMBINING with any other NSD or Message Board Challenges EXCEPT the 25 Item Challenge and the Bi-Monthly Inspiration Challenge.
5. Must be a new creation!
6. Entries must be posted to this thread by Friday, May 17 at 11:59 PM, EDT.
7. You MUST have fun!
If you have any questions, please ask away!
