Here's my take on it, I did a card, and turned the sketch to the right.
I really made this my own, I changed the number of photos, fussy cut leaves, skipped the stitching and moved the title. But I was definitely inspired by the sketch and your example. I loved the placement of the clusters, the use of the washi tape and the floral/fauna feel.
Here's my take on your sketch. I changed it up some for the extra entry. I went with larger photos with double matting, title in top corner and put my stripe under the photos with a cut strip from a sheet of paper (words and balloons).
I split the photos up and turned the sketch.

For BONUS I made it my own by making a card and substituting die cuts for photos.
