This was so fun, Natalie...thanks for the challenge! I was excited to realize how well my ACOT pin I received in an order coordinated with my layout LOL #craftlife
Gorgeous layout! I definitely want to make this!NatalieDill wrote: ↑Sat May 07, 2022 12:06 pmThis challenge is called Repeat After Me. You must create a new layout using a repeating element on the page. You can create a background full of repeating shapes, repeat the same words, have a repeating photo or honestly the possibilities are endless! I can't wait to see what you all create!!
You will have to submit the layout to the ACOT gallery (there is a challenge folder to submit to!) and post in the challenge thread in this message board to be eligible to win the prize - a Mega Mystery Bundle from Simple Stories! They will be due Monday May 16, 2022 by 11:59 pm EST!
Here is my inspiration for this challenge:
I had the idea for the tags when I saw Rachel and Jess visit the Tim Holtz booth at Creativation.

The prize for this challenge is a Simple Stories Mega Mystery Bundle! So Fun!!

What was I thinking! This took a long time lol, 3 layers of hexagons, then the butterfly all manual diecuts. The top is holographic making the lighting weird but they are all the same! There is also a gem in the middle of each butterfly.

I did tags on my page. I used 5 tags two are pockets to hold tags for journaling. No photo on the page yet, since I still need to edit Mother's Day pics.

OMG Tammey I LOVE it so much!!!
Used circles as my repeating element. Started with circle background paper then punched some circles to pop up over some of the background circles. Also punched some small sentiment circles from another piece of paper and added those, and used some circle buttons.

I used these fun tickets as my repeating element. I hardly ever do double page layouts but I thought it was fun with the tickets going across both pages.

I chose to use up lots of scraps of solid and patterned papers and make squares for my repeat pattern:
