I didn't get as many of you to play along with this one as I hoped, but I am hoping you enjoyed the free kit and will use it at some point, later, when you aren't as busy! lol Randomly drawn winner of this challenge is traveler!
Please EMAIL JESSICA - jessica@acherryontop.com and let her know you won the Explosion Board sponsored by American Crafts, along with your shipping information.
For my final challenge, I am going to challenge you to do something hybrid! Hybrid is when you print out items and use them on your layout. More than just printing journaling, that is. I am sharing a free digital kit, created by me, that you can use in this challenge. J Here is the download link so you can get it: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bdg5ee665jmh ... 2G3Ga?dl=0
You can download and print these items on your computer. Did you know that you can use Microsoft Word and insert jpeg and png files, size them, and print them? If you have trouble getting the items, let me know!
For this layout, you must use at least 2 different items from the kit (for this count, papers are all one item, buttons are all one item, etc.)
Also, you must have 10 points total from the list below. For every additional 5 points over 10, you will receive another entry into the prize drawing!
1. Items from the kit = 1 pt. each (for this count, 3 papers = 3 points)
2. Handwritten journaling = 2 pts.
3. Stitching by hand = 3 pts.
4. Doodling = 2 pts.
5. Brads = 1 pt.
6. Vellum = 2 pts.
7. Ribbon = 1 pt.
8. Cut out title letters or fussy cut image = 3 pts.
Here is my example, using my own kit, which I had to print and cut out. All of the items you get points for are on my layout! If I was counting, I have 10 items from the kit (3 papers, 3 buttons, 1 butterfly flair, 2 photo turns, and the journal card), 2 pts. for handwritten journaling, 3 points for hand stitching (in the buttons), 2 pts. for doodling, 1 pt. for brads, 2 pts. for vellum (the quote), 1 pt. for ribbon, and 3 pts. for a cut-out title, for a total of 24 points, which would get me 3 entries in the contest if I were able to win. lol
Rules:
1. You have until midnight EST, May 10th to upload your layout into the gallery spot I have created. Please list and total your points for me!
2. Please share your layout here, but I will draw the winner from the gallery spot.
3. Must be a new layout.
4. Cannot be combined with any other challenges, except the 25 Item Challenge.
5. Open to hybrid layouts, only!
The prize for this challenge is The Explosion Board by American Crafts!

I printed the background and one page with the other items, and then I realized I was out of the card stock I was printing them on, so I had to use what as already printed. I was using photoshop to stick them all onto one page, so I probably could have planned out my layout and layered some of them digitally instead of fussy cutting and adhering. I think if I did this again, i would take a different approach. I hope you don’t mind if I keep the kit to use in the future (after I buy more paper to print them on)
