FINALLY got through all the pm's so I could pick the winner for this one!  LOL  31 people had all the correct answers!
Random generator chose the winner of 200 points as Mathandlit!  Also 9 people are getting extra sprinkles for telling me that Tina Turner sings "Simply the Best."  Hope you all had fun!  I posted the answers below for those who were stuck. 

I started this week with a post about listening to obscure music. Most of my iPod includes 80's songs, artists, and bands.   It was "simply the best" decade! lol  (might give bonus sprinkles to anyone who mentions when they submit their answers as to which artist had a song with that title...simply the best. )

Anyway, I have a list of 80's bands and artists for you to unscramble.  It is, by no means, a comprehensive list, and I did not go the "one hit wonders" route, so these are all artists with a great catalogue.  Some may have started earlier, but they have a bunch of classic 80's tunes.  Some are lead singers and some are groups.  I left in the spaces to give you a little extra help, so you know if they are 1, 2, or more words.  These are some of my favorite 80's artists and bands!

You have until midnight, Friday, May 7th to unscramble them and send me your answers in a PM, please!  Title it 80's Band Word Scramble!

One winner who has all the correct answers will receive 200 cherry points, and everyone with all the correct answers will receive some points (I have to see how many I will have left!)

Me too! But I am not quite ready to walk away yet! It is bugging me!

Updated...there is a missing 'e' in #33!

I just had to play Simply the Best on my Alexa Echo - they always play the live version which i LOVE!

I'm still working on these but some are easy and some are HARD!

this was a hard one but im not giving up just yet.

This is fun - love me some 80s!! Class of '89 here so this is my time!!   having said that -- I'm down to 3 that I can't get. I'm going to have to get DH to weigh in LOL!

They are now...I edited after alerted to the missing 'e'.
 

I have been staring and just one of these for over 30 minutes -- even had Mike look at it.  We're stuck!  But, I won't give up -- I'm determined to get it!!!!

It wasn't #33 was it...see I edited it!

No, it wasn't 33, BUT I FINALLY GOT THE ONE I WAS STUCK ON!!!!  Sent my PM!

I'm still stuck on two.  I'm older than most of you but I love 80's music.

Sent you mine.  Now I need a stiff drink (or two)!!!   Being old helped a lot for once!

This was so fun! I was surprised at how many just came to me looking at the mix of letters. I am going to keep this list to search for some old songs I'd like to add to my playlist! Thanks!
