Welcome to NSD Sunday morning edition. I am Kristin and will be with you for the next two hours. I found ACOT one year ago yesterday and it has been such a blessing. I hope if you are new here, you consider staying
This first grade teacher is TIRED and needs some Summer inspiration to make it through the last five weeks of the school year. Your challenge is to create a layout about what Summer means to you. It could be more travel time. sleeping in, beach and pool time, eating ice cream, more scrap time...whatever it means to you. THE TWIST: You MUST have three sentences of HANDWRITTEN journaling. That does not mean that your hand typed it...that means that your hand actually wrote it out. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Summer means MANY things to me. Here is my example:
The Rules:
Layouts Only - Paper or digital
Must be a new layout and only
one entry per person
No Combining with any other challenge,
except that you may combine with the NSD 25 Items Challenge.
Please post all entries to this thread.
Deadline for entries is Monday, May 10, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
Winner will be chosen randomly from all entries.
The prize for this challenge is the Zoo Bundle generously sponsored by Photoplay

Ooh, that twist might just be the inspiration I need to use the designing tablet dh bought me several years ago, so I can handwrite my journaling for my digi layout!

like those paper packs and I still have lots of Zoo layouts to work on.
We have 6 more weeks of school, last day is 11 JUN. I keep thinking about retirement in Aug 2022 - that is what is keeping me going.

Hang in there, you're almost there...I have 11 years to go...started at 35 as a third career.

I turned 65 the other day, I could retire any day, but I am holding out until 8/22, then I will have 10yrs in the school system. Every little bit counts.

Summer for me means more time with my grandkids. Lazy summer days jumping on the trampoline or sitting in the creek. No remote learning, NO ZOOM! Just fun relaxed days with the kids. Don't get me wrong, there are many days, especially around Thursday that I almost push them out the door at the end of the day, rofl.

I have NEVER done handwritten journaling on a layout! I was so freaked out I would mess up my card (like I don't have a hundred more LOL!) So I included a funny photo of my prewriting process so I could get it "just right"!
My layout with my handwritten journaling.....not too shabby!
