you did this really fast and it came out great. which are the 5 pieces of paper?shoorn wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 12:51 pmOkay - got this done. Used brads and washi and some stickers. The 3 non adhesive embellies - 2 leaves - adhered with a brad the other with washi, and the pumpkin die cut at bottom adhered with a brad and sticker. Hope I did this right!
The overlay helps keep everything flat - adhered with brads.

Brown background, tan cs at bottom, photo, Vanilla mat and checked pp. Didn't know if you counted the overlay as papertrainmom wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 12:54 pmyou did this really fast and it came out great. which are the 5 pieces of paper?shoorn wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 12:51 pmOkay - got this done. Ok, I have two background papers sewed together. Then I took and sewed my photos to two pieces of paper (mats). Used three cat brads to attach the flowers and photos to the paper. Used one brad to attach the tags and sewed the ribbon in place. I do have to say, I will have to stitch the lower corners of each photo as they are not staying square, lol.
Fun challenge, Louise!

This was hard but so much fun. At first I said I wasn't going to try it then I put on my big girl pants and gave it a go. Everything is not perfectly straight but I'm good with it.
I attached all the patterned paper with brads. The photo is only attached with the spiral clips as is the big flower and leaves. My three non adhesive items are the leaves, the big flower and the smaller center flower, help on by the clip and one brad. I stenciled and used sticker letters. My five papers are 3 patterned papers, photo paper and cardstock. Thanks for a challenge that was truly a challenge.

This is very cool! I love this challenge. I've still got tons of brads and thread (sewEasy) and lots of washi tape!

This is a tough one! Thanks for hosting, this challenge truly gave me a challenge!
Embellishments: my 2 flowers embellishments I built from paper die cut flowers and greenery. The top flower has a button stitched through everything to secure it, the bottom flower has a huge circular brad straight through the middle securing everything under it.
My 3rd embellishment (yellow twine with bow) was secured using small yellow brads and wrapping it around the paper like a frame. (a technique I haven't used since 2018)
The bumblebee is also a brad to help secure the extra greenery.
5 nonadhesive papers: cardstock (yellow, purple, blue, green) and photo

This was a fun but hard challenge. I used a lot of stitching to get it to hold together.

For the 5 pieces of paper, I used a photo, rainbow striped paper, green paper, yellow patterned paper and white paper for my photo mat. My 3 non-adhesive embellishments are the “love” circle above the photo (held in place with the heart foam sticker), the “Sunshine and Happiness” card (held in place by the monkey sticker), and the date tag held in place by another foam heart sticker). My title “I love my monkey” is from a larger sticker I cut apart. It’s holing the green paper in place along with the sticker banner pieces at the top. Brads are holding the yellow paper in place and washi tape was used for the photo.
SUCH A FUN CHALLENGE!!!
SUCH A FUN CHALLENGE!!!
I used 5 pieces of paper, brads, cardboard buttons, stickers, fluffy yarn and one photo.
I really enjoyed making this layout, it made me think about what to use. I’m sure I will use this technique another time.
This is always so challenging using no adhesive, but so rewarding when you get it done!
I used -
1 Background Cardstock
5 Patterned Papers...From Left to Right...Black, Yellow, Olive Green, Wide Stripes, Below Ledger Looking Paper.
My 3 non-adhesive accents are 3 pieces of ephemera...Butterfly, Brown Card, White Double Frame.
I used lots of machine stitching to hold the patterned papers on and then added a piece of washi tape at the bottom to secure the bottom piece. Used the clip to hold the 2 diecuts on the left and brads to hold the title and butterfly on. Used 2 enamel dots to adhere the 'enjoy' label to the double frame. Also photo corners to hold the photo in place.
Group photo of the grandkids on Easter 2021.

I used staples as my "adhesive" and my embellies are paper flowers held down by staple centers as well.
This was fun and actually was a lot quicker than using a tape runner. LOL

I used stickers to hold layers together. The buttons are stitched to stickers then stuck to the page. To hold layers to page I used some old shaped paper clips - 2 triangles & a double spiral. The ribbon on the mask is stuck down with the sticky on the back of the sticker

you need to put your layout in the gallery here at ACOT and then link it into this thread.
