Here goes! I was a Stampin up demonstrator back then and trying to use those products to scrapbook. Sorry it's sideways!

Mandi My Blog
this is the first layout i posted here...in 2013
going thru my gallery...i have noticed that back in 2013 etc i did a lot more horizontal layouts
i also used a bit more colored cardstock backgrounds
this appears to be about where i started using things like mist and sequins....2014
ive always loved this layout from 2014
went thru a huge maggie holmes stage
i also seemed to go back in re-scrap photos for a bit
i also worked more on my BOM in 2014 in the pocket page format
overall i dont think my style has changed much in the last 8 years...prior to that i was mostly 12x12 so that style is much diff but im not gonna dig up those heavy huge albums...LOL

A layout from 2009!!! Wow, I have been here for awhile now, lol. I also did 8/12 x 11 pages, and I only did single pages. Boy, has that also changed.
I was also big on flowers. Not that I never use them now, but almost all my layouts back then had flowers and or buttons.
I progressed in to 12x12, which I love and do all double page layouts now. I love banners and am getting better at trying to scrap out of my comfort zone. This has been a great place to learn for me.

This was my first scrapbook that I started in 1982 and went to about 1990. A post bound Precious Moments album that is waaaay overstuffed and falling apart. I know.... this is bad but we all started somewhere right? I remember thinking I was soooo clever with that movie page, lol.

"Be the Change You Wish to See in the World"
My very first pages from 2005 or so. It's made me realize I need to date the backs as to when they are made so I can remember.
I used to use a lot more metal embellishments, brads, paperclips, eyelets. There were no matching paper packs, I just bought sheets that I liked. I wrote titles by hand and even used calligraphy. I rounded so many corners and cut photos into shapes too. The funny part is I was suprised how little my style has changed. I still scrap a lot of photos, mat all my photos, put everything straight on the page, and use minimal embellishments. So i'd say my style hasn't really changed, although the products that are available have.

Here's a couple of my older ones. Definitely looked like I just stuck them together. Not a lot of thought on them. I believe I was using a book with sketches (won't mention the name) on all of these. In fact, looking at the first and third they are pretty similar in design.
These were from the 2010 era.
From the last 5 years. Lots more thought went into my layouts. The design and embellishments.

I've ALSO discovered almost a whole album full of LOs that a missing things: journaling mostly, but there's a few that I made without pictures because I planned on adding the pictures later and I guess I didn't. Oops! Well LOL NOW I have more projects!

Congrats, Stacy! And, THANKS for the sprinkles!
OCD is not an adjective. It is not a personality quirk. It is not synonymous with being organized. It is a complex and debilitating mental health illness that affects people of all ages and walks of life, and is defined by the presence of unwanted, intrusive thoughts and repetitive actions. I am an OCD warrior and I fight for my son.
Congrats Stacy and thanks for the points.
