I love to document memories in my scrapbooks, and find it easy to do so with pictures, but I often struggle with journaling.  For my challenge I want to challenge you to journal on your layout.  Your journaling needs to be more than a place or date -- write at least one full sentence!  You have a full week (until midnight next Saturday) to complete this challenge.  I have a spot in the gallery to submit your layouts, and I would love it if you posted them here on this thread too!  Please submit a new layout, and do not combine this challenge with any other challenge.

great challenge!!!  I always struggle with journaling ideas so I have stickies and notes EVERYWHERE now~~  maybe I will do a LO on THAT~~~

I stuggle with journaling since so many of my photos are grabbed from my children's Facebook pages.  Plus due to some of my DH's recent medical issues I don't want to publish to the world.  So this will be a perfet challenge for me.

That's a great challenge and a beautiful layout, Krystle! 

I don't always journal because I leave it to my daughters to add their thoughts. Also, I often don't journal til after I scan my layouts because I don't always wanna share my thoughts.

Love that page, Krystle!  So soft, love the blocking, and perfect papers for your photos.   I journal on almost every single layout.  I have been scrapping for so long that I don't remember details on many events in past scrapbooks, so now I really try to get the story on the page!  Great challenge for us!

I have always journaled on my layouts as I go, I don’t want to try to go back and do it. I am always getting after my daughter to journal and she says she doesn’t like her hand writing so I tell her that years from now her girls will cherish those a albums with her handwriting in them.
