Lemon Bars Event Challenge!

And the winner of the Lemon Bars Challenge is ta-da...Yankeegirl! Congratulations! Thank you to all who participated. Isabella loved seeing all the baking going on during NSD! She is so glad y'all like her recipe!
Friday, May 1, 2020 to Saturday, May 9, 2020 8:00 PM ESTWelcome to a special two-part event! This is a Lemon Bar recipe challenge! The event is from Friday morning May 1 until Friday, May 8, 2020 at 8:00 PM EST. You may participate in one part or both for prize!
- I am providing the recipe here for my granddaughter’s locally famous lemon bars! You may make them anytime during the week. After you make the cookies take a photo and post it here. Sprinkles will be awarded Saturday May 9.
- The second part to this is a layout that includes something yellow. You may use any papers, embellishments, and of course your photos OR a recipe with or without a photo! My sample is below. I wish I could send you each a lemon bar right now through the internet! I am allowing one week from the start of this challenge to give you enough time to work on one or both parts. The winner will be awarded the prize next Saturday, May 9, 2020. “The winner of this challenge will receive BELLE FLEUR COLLECTION PACK generously sponsored by PHOTOPLAY.” If you have done both I will sprinkle you with love, which is the secret ingredient in Isabella’s lemon bar cookies!

As long as I can get lemons/lemon juice from a grocery order! We never know what we will receive from our order.

Since I rarely bake, I don't think I have confectioners sugar and if I do, it's probably expired. But you sure did get me hungry for lemon bars. Beautiful sample!

Oh I love it! Gorgeous layout!! Thanks for sharing the recipe - looks yummy! I've never made lemon bars but my husband loves anything lemony. I literally just added a bag of lemons to our Peapod order coming tomorrow LOL!!

Your layout is beautiful! I never would have thought I would have to say something like this---but we are out of flour and I have been trying for weeks to get a bag! Our stores are always sold out.

This is Chef Isabella's own recipe. She loves to bake and she wants to be a pastry chef! They are the best I have ever eaten! She loves anything with lemon!
