Great it's good to set aside extra time for this event. There is always so many fun games to participate in that you don't want to miss out. Then you can always get down to the nitty gritty. Hope you have a good nights sleep and thanks for staying up with me!

Great! Sometimes you have so much fun playing the games and such that you can't get much done. That's when I like to get in my scrap groove!
Thanks for staying up with me! Hope you get a good night's sleep when you're ready to call it a day!
I don't think I have ever brought my Cricut before. I was hoping to find someone to teach me how to do an OFFSET title. No one knew how, a lady with a Cameo made me the title I wanted in about 5 minutes. The ONLY reason I bought the Explore was to make double and triple layer titles. I guess I'll keep my Create and get a Cameo and sell the Explore.Jaditelady173 wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 1:09 amkarensay wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 12:15 amWell, I am going to play a little Solitare then go to bed.
We need to pak our things in the car in the morning before we head to the srop so we can leave from ther - AFTER we pack all our scrappy goodies. Why I brought so much to do, I do not know. I thought I was going to get 3 years of Band Competitions PLUS done. Well, that is to be seen. I have not even taken my Cricut out of the tote. I don't think I will get to the page titles tomorrow, we are leaving before 4PM. It is a long ride home.
GOOD NIGHT Cherries!
Well have a safe trip home and don't worry about those band competitions. I never get done what I planned on doing, but I get something done and have fun along the way! And that's the most important thing. Fun shouldn't have goals that you must attain or you won't have fun.
I Also never drag my CRICUT to a crop. I have a small Slice I take if anything. But usually someone has one there that will let me make a cut if I need one. If it's a group thing with friends , we usually just have one of us take one. But to drag that thing around for 2 cuts isn't worth it. You can always leave that area open and do the cut when you get home. Crafters are pretty good people and if you take some chocolate or snacks to share....you can usually borrow or use any tool someone else has! Yes crafters can be bribed too.
Get yourself some sleep and happy scrappy dreams!
I worked on the 5 competitions from 2018, 2 pages each. They all just need titles and dates. So, that is 10 pages I started 2015 late yesterday, only 3 competitions that year. Have base pages done (6), photos on 2 pages. hope to finish those before we pack to go.

Before you give up your CRICUT, check out YouTube. There are several very talented people who are very educated on the CRICUT products. One of those is Melanie Lane. She has tons of videos on there and is such a fun and kind person. Just watch one of her videos and put your question over in the comments. I'm sure she will get back with you with either a link to video where she has already explained it or will just walk you through it.karensay wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2019 8:26 amI don't think I have ever brought my Cricut before. Make sure you check out the video of her home in Florida. She is retired now and moved there. Her whole living room is her craftroom and it's beautiful. And she lives in a retirement village that always has something to do. She is a hoot when she rides around in her decorated golf carts that are also named. She such a talented and fun person to watch. One other source of information for using various cutting machines is MAYMAY she is under MayMaymadeit on you tube. She does weekly videos and also is a stamp designer. Her whole family is in on her business. She does live shows a couple times a week. If she can't help you, she will redirect you to someone who will.
Well I'm glad you made it back to your crop. Have a great day and a safe trip home. I'm about to head to my bed. I have been up all night. I'm sure I will talk to you again in the forum...until then I'm sending Scrappy blessings your way...Mary
Oh no...I hope he can get some rest too. Yes I got quite alot of things done and my layouts planned...And some finished. I also took the time to do the gallery hop and several other challenges that needed to be completed today. I'm now trying to respond to any comments made to me before I head off to hopefully get at least 4 hours of sleep. But the sky is overcast and still has those dark storm clouds. We are also suppose to get more rain...lucky us. NOT! So I will pass the scrapping torch over to you my friend. That grandbaby has to go to sleep sometime right? Lol
Well until the next time...keep up that creative spirit and I'll be sending "Scrappy Blessings" your way....Mary
I sure wasn't. I scrapped until 7:30p or so and then packed up and headed home from BFF's. I am hoping to get a few more challenges done today!
