I like the versatility of the designers creations. I saw a lot of techniques and picked up some new ways to use different kinds of media. Oh and just seeing some simple things on  how a few designers used a paper towel roll was awesome to me! I will be tuning into future videos!

I loved all of these fantastic videos! What I loved most was that everyone had the same theme, but everyone came up with a completely different looking (and gorgeous) layout. I think I may be scraplifting some of these projects!

Re: NSD You Tube Hop!!
I've heard of blog hops and YouTube hops before, but this was my first time hopping! I really enjoyed it!  :-D   I've watched and commented on all of the videos, it's hard to narrow down to just one favorite part. That's like picking ONE favorite manufacturer LOL.  Each one of you had a tip or trick or technique that made me go "I'll have to try that."  Seeing the hands-on creating and hearing the designers talk about their layouts in their own words really helps us get to know your styles better. Looking forward to watching more YouTube videos in the future!
**edited Sunday morning** I went back to re-watch Laura Alberts video and realized I had left my comment on the wrong one because I watched more than one she posted.  Just left my comment on her ACOT video this morning  :-D

Re: NSD You Tube Hop!!
The hop was a lot of fun.  I think I enjoyed "meeting" each of the designers through their work the best.  It was fun to hear each person tell us about themselves while working on their creation.  Seeing the designer in action was so much fun.  It would be a lot of fun to see more of these.   Thanks so much.

Wow, what an amazing you tube hop.  I saw many techniques done that I wasn't sure how to do.  Now I want to get the mixed media out and play.  All the videos were well presented and were very informative.  Thanks to all for the designers for the hop.

This was so fun!  I enjoyed each layout.  Each one has such a unique style.  I loved the mix media use in the designs and Natalie's total abandonment of trying to "get it perfect" made me excited to get messy again, which I have not done in quite a while!  Also loved all the use of cut files.  Just gorgeous!

Re: NSD You Tube Hop!!
Wow where do I start?  First of all this was such a great idea to do this hop.  I watch and sub to various crafters on YouTube, but I had never seen these girls before and they all were fantastic.

Ashley introduced me to her Hip Hop Kits and I loved the layout style she used.  Her layout had a little bit of everything and was so cool. She was also easy to follow along and took time to explain her thought processes in decorating her layout.  And even threw in a couple tips!

Laura was super positive and I got the message she was telling with her layout. How it was important to take photos of ourselves at least 2x a year to not only document change,  but reinforce our self esteem and confidence through positive messages on our layout.  I enjoyed her mixed media touches too. She also took the time to explain her choices and techniques without boring one to death. Such a sweet and positive lady.  I look forward to seeing more of her videos too.

Erica introduced me to using cut files. I have never used them before and they really made her layout feature pop.  I loved her choice of papers too. And I learned a lot about ink techniques from her.  Her layout was fresh and fun. She is another one I will be following up with.

Wendy had so many things to admire in her layout.   I loved the stencil she used called Pixie dust.   And I enjoyed how she layered so many embellishments around her photo collage...yet it didn't look busy.  I enjoyed hearing her talk about her family and their time they spend together.  But I was in awe of learning her technique of using the clear RULER to line up her letter stickers and having them stick out far enough that she could apply them to the paper and release them without the worry of movement. Where has this women been?  Such a simple idea, but what an easy way to get your letters on straight in one step. I feel like I discovered the secret recipe to scrapbook heaven!  I've added her to my list of YouTube favorites.

Natalie is the queen of multimedia uses.  And I love her attitude about not worrying about perfection.  I remember she mentioned Bob Ross the painter of "Happy Trees"  from PBS.  She definitely has his spirit and great attitude.  I enjoyed watching her use different multi-media products and how she embraces the messy look.  Her messy free spirit style looked cool.  Mine always looks like a 3 yr old did it. She also used a tool to distress the edges of her paper I had never seen before.  I liked the size and the ease of use.  I asked her to please provide information of who makes it.  I will definitely be buying one of those.  What a nice and positive person with great talent!   I look forward to seeing more of her videos too.

Sara was so fun and talented also. Her layout with the floral cut file was gorgeous too.  I was impressed at the time and effort she put in to actually sew around all those flowers.  The results were worth it.  I learned about using the oxide inks on your paper to make a background.    Her blending of the different colors behind the cut file created a soft colorful background that highlighted the beauty of the cut file and the papers she chose to decorate the flowers.  She is going to be a great asset to the ACOT design team.

All of these ladies have so much talent to share. They all will be an asset to the ACOT design team with their winning personalities and individual talents.  Thank you again for doing this hop

Re: NSD You Tube Hop!!
This was the first YouTube "hop" I had ever hopped along with.  I really enjoyed it for many reasons.  Even though each designer has a different style than what I would consider "my style" - I was able to take away things that I want to try in my own layouts.  I loved getting to see the layouts come together and each designer talk about their process.  I commented on each video and subscribed to each designer's channel.  I haven't really used YouTube as a reference for scrapping, but I see that I am going to be using it more in the future!

Thanks to the ACOT DT for the fun hop and all of the great ideas!!
