I took a motorcycle driving course at the age of 45, passed with flying colors and bought a Harley. It is now 18 years old and I still ride!
I ride too! my HD is 20 years old. I am picking up my !996 Shadow today or tomorrow. (front brakes froze up)

Don't make fun of me..............if we are having bad weather (I live in central Texas) and there is a threat of tornado outbreak, I put the leash on my poor dog and make sure she is hook to a doorknob near me or to the bed post. She will run and hide if the sirens sound and I panic that I cannot get her into our storm cellar. My poor kitties (if I can catch them) will be in their carriers as well. Poor babies are not happy when spring time rolls around. My husband apologizes to them every time.
he has been apologizing a lot lately eh?? LOL where in Central are you?
I live near Burleson and work in Fort Worth. I grew up in southwest Fort Worth in Benbrook.
ahhhhhhhhhhh you are about 3 hours southeast of me...........
my mom was the same...I gave her swim lessons for her 60th bday.....she at least felt more confident in the water after them....
I honestly never knew she couldn't swim....I spent tons of time in the water all growing up......she hid it well

And guess what? All three of my kids LOVE math. It’s their favorite subject.
oh my I hate the higher levels of math like trig and algebra......I passed algebra in high school and college with a lil cheating help...( yes im bad)
give me any of the practical maths and im good but geeeeeeeeez letters and numbers don't go together..LOL
Sorry to hear that...I'm not a fan of dirt bikes. My nephew raced for 10 years, he's 32 and feels 102 from all of the bumps bruises and breaks. We are fair weather riders...daylight only, above 65 degrees and blue skies. And, I never travel without my "wingman" (hubby).
