The layouts everyone did for the challenge were awesome.  So many color combos used and kudos to those that used all the colors.  The winner of the 1,000 points is Jan G.  Congrats Jan.  Will send the points to you this evening.


The month of May in Central Indiana is a busy month.  We have a full month of race activities which includes a mini marathon,  qualifications, carb day, a parade and of course the big race.  M
y challenge for NSD is along the Indy 500 theme.    We will be doing a layout challenge based on the colors of the Indy 500 race flags and the race track shape.   The colors of the flags are white, black, green, yellow, blue and red and the track is an oval shape.  For the challenge you must use at least 3 of these colors on your layout.  You will need to have at least one oval on your layout.  It can be any size as long as it is oval.  It could be a journal tag or a picture cut in the shape of an oval.  Your choice.    Here are the colors again.


Here's the rules.
Must be a new layout.  Paper or digital.
Must use at least 3 of the colors listed.
Must have an oval shape somewhere visible on layout.
Bonus entry:  If you use all the colors listed.
Bonus entry:  To represent the checkered flag you must use a black and white pattern paper.  To make this easier it does not have to be checkered.  Any pattern will do.
Please post to this thread and the gallery spot to be entered to win 1,000 points by 11:59 pm on 05/12/18.

Here is my take on the challenge.  I used red, green and white and the oval is framing the title.  This was a fun challenge, Sandi!

I've got all your colours and the oval is on the A+ tab. for the bonus, newsprint type paper in black and white.

here's my page, red white and black, the ovals are the car's eyes.  I also have a bonus for black and white checkered paper.

I used all the colors, checkered colors, and oval.
