I thought this might be a good spot to post helpful Crop preparation hints. For those who have participated in ACOT's NSD crop before, what are things you do to get ready the week beforehand?
I always try to shop for easy meals, so I don't really have to take time out to cook. lol. Also, get extra adhesive! Nothing saps the mojo quicker than running out of a staple supply.
I make sure my trimmer blades are new and try to pair some photos with at least 1 patterned paper.

It's ok, I scrapbook.

I try and figure out ahead what photos are on my "must scrap" list....ya know the ones that I want off my desk..lol
I try and match them up with papers a bit or a sketch....
ready-ish but flexible

I always make sure my camera battery is charged and that there is ink in my printer.

ScrapRoom tidied up, plenty of adhesive and new trimmer blades, phone fully charged (II use my phone to take photos of my layouts), bottled water and ice tea chilled, healthy snacks, extra ink cartridge for my photo printer. And of course a bottle of chilled Chardonnay to celebrate the end of the crop.
I will be planning easy Breakfast and Lunchtime dinner, since I didn't realize that my girl scout troop will be having a camping trip that night and I signed me and my DD up for it. (UGHH haha) I just bought new blades for my trimmer, ordered the last bit of pictures I wanted and forgot to get done, I bought new glue, I rearranged my area by making some changes for easier access. I'm ready for this and so excited.

Usually I try to clean up and get out product I want to make sure to use then let the fam take care of themselves. This year we will have a mess of people here for Cinco de Mayo and I am expected to make Enchiladas! No problema...The sauce is allready made so I just have to put them together in the AM. The fam can take care of the rest of the cooking. Hopefully they can take care of themselves and I can get some scrapping done. Wish me luck!
Very good idea and getting anything done ahead of time causes less stress and allows for a better time on iNSD!!
I make a list of things to do each day...
# Grabbing photos, and building kits is a great idea.
# Easy or no meal preps, snacks, drinks
# laundry and cleaning done ahead of time
# a clean scrap table and plenty of work space
# all the basic supplies right at your finger tips
# music, movies or whatever you want to listen to all set up

Mine issue has always been to have my photos organized. I don't function well outside of chronological order. I organized my room at the end of March and double checked my stash. Beer is already cold in the fridge, lol

I have my scraptable cleaned off...so here's hoping it stays that way!
I took Friday off this year so I could prepare and have fun with no stress. LOL! I will get laundry done, house cleaned, any snacks ready, wine bought (or beer kinda sounds good), and talking to my two kitties and lab doggie trying to convince them that I will be out of commission this weekend.....so leave me alone to scrap! They are worse than the hubby and kids! They tend to bug me often in my scrap room.

I still have alot of planning to do, but I usually try to pull a few brands I'd like to use. That way I'm not spending alot of time trying to figure out what to use. Also, the usual of making sure I have enough printer ink, photo paper, adhesive, etc. So, I'm good on those things.
DH was asking if I wanted to go to BJs on Saturday. Nah, man, I'm good, but you can go and take the kids with you LOL!!!!!
Happy Scrapping!

I took Friday (and Monday) off so I would have additional time to prepare for iNSD! I still need to get some snacks and easy to prepare things for dh and nephew to snack/eat on. Debating on placing an order but I know I really don't **NEED** anything.....

Scrappy-wise, I make sure I have my basics (adhesive, blade for my paper trimmer), charged up camera (or phone) and computer is clean and ready to go!
Food-wise, I go to the store no later than Friday afternoon and DH is in charge of feeding me. I tell him and he will cook it.
