What are some of your favorite embellishments? The things you can't live without and those you always reach for?

What are some of the things you have trouble using or are just not that into anymore?

Love enamel dots but don't like eyelets.  I didn't like using them when they were popular but of course I HAD to use them since everyone else was. 

I am also loving stencils and ordered several on my last ACOT order.  Now I just need to use them!!

Enamel dots!  They really complete a lo. Least are flowers. With so many boy lo's I do not use them much.

enamel dots are my favorite probably - my least favorite are definately eyelets - especially the shaped kind - although I'd like to use some just because I have a million and never use them and for some reason won't get rid of them. LOL

I love washi, am really getting a lot although I don't seem to use it much.  Also love bling!  That I use more and more - enamel dots mostly.

I threw away most of my ribbon, switching to twines instead.  And I don't like buttons or brads.  Trying to get away from things that bulk up my pages.  I have looked back at books even a few years old and they look terrible!

I love using inks and pearl dots, stencils too when I remember I have them, lol. 
Least favorite would be sequins, buttons, (which I used to use all the time) and ribbon

My favs are enamel dots and sequins. They're tiny enough and often they're just the perfect little thing you need.

Lately my least favs are ribbon and eyelets. I just can't seem to get them on the page.

I will agree with the group and go with enamel dots as my favorite. Also smaller wood veneers. I don't feel like a layout is finished until I add some smaller bits like these!

My least favorite is flowers... They are too bulky and I'm not a very flowery person. I use them occasionally but I often would rather make or fussy cut one from paper.

My fave and easy go-to embellishments:  enamel dots, Nuvo Crystal drops, buttons, layered stickers, and premade embellishments, especially Disney ones.  And Thickers.  I will never own enough Thickers.
My least fave:  SEQUINS (which I own a lot of); gliltter, ribbon and lace, doilies.  And metals.  I have to build up the courage to purge the 1000s of metal embellies I have had and not used for over 10 years. And those slides.  Why ever did I buy them----I never use them!

Wood embellishments and laser cut chipboard are my favorite embellishments right now.  Stick pins and eyelets are my least favorite.

I'm old school and cant live without my stickers!! That is always what I am drawn too! I also love the chipboard stickers, but don't like using chipboard that I have to create with. Also love border packs. Washi tape is becoming a favorite, replacing the ribbon I used to use all the time. Now ribbon just seems to sit in drawer.

I don't understand eyelets so my least favorite. I have brads, but only on rare occasion when a challenge calls for it. I never have understood using buttons and sequins

Of course - we all HAD to use eyelets! And I'm wondering why eyelets were popular when I had sleeping babies to worry about but now enamel dots when you can use whenever and I don't have to worry about sleeping babies anymore LOL!

I love enamel dots too - so easy and add such flair! I do girl layouts too but I  hardly ever reach for my flowers unless it's part of a challenge.

My faves right now are wood veneer, enamel dots, and stencils & stamps.

My least faves would have to be anything metal (not that I don't like it, just don't ever grab it) and stickers (have a drawer full, but can never find what I'm looking for).

Ditto - seems we all love the dots and not the eyelets anymore. I have two whole jars of eyelets - round and shaped - and also really can't get rid of them! Because we BOUGHT and PAID for them LOL!

I love washi too - my stash is outgrowing the Curious George lunchbox I've been keeping them in. Where is Mildred and her washi challenge lol? Also love bling (sequins mostly).  I am sure your books do not look terrible! Maybe a bit bulkier but that was the style at the time. I wouldn't know as most of my layouts have yet to make it into actual books (erg...).

I love the look of ink when other scrappers do it but it never seems to come out the way I want it to. Do you use stencils for mixed media or stitching? I have some stitching templates. I use some regular stencils to make "die cuts" by hand.

I could have written this! I have a shoe holder full of ribbon sorted by colors and it's all just getting dusty!
