Gallery Game for points *WINNERS*
Posted: Fri May 06, 2016 8:08 pm
Well, this game was wildly successful and I love seeing what everybody posted...we are all winners! 25 points for everyone! (Plus, I am bookmarking this topic to look at later. )
I always like to look in the gallery and it is fun to leave love for people. I'm sure we will have many games and incentives to praise the awesome talent in our gallery, but this one is a little different. I want you to spotlight yourself!
Everyone who completes this game will get some points from me. You have until midnight, Sunday, 5/8 to do this.
Go to your gallery and come back to share the following layouts (copy and share the pic) and please include links so we can go and leave some love for you!! Tell us about them, too!
1. The first layout you posted here
2. The last layout you posted here
3. Your favorite layout ( I know it is hard to choose from your "children.")
4. The layout you consider most outside your "box" or "comfort zone."
5. The layout you wish you could re-do.
6. The layout you would be most likely to submit to a scrapping publication.
7. The layout your family likes best or the one you most wanted to share with family
8. The layout where you used your least favorite color as the dominant color of the layout.
9. The layout that has your best photo(s) on it.
10. The layout that has your most heartfelt journaling on it.
Here are mine:
1. The first layout you posted here
This is actually the third layout I posted here. The first two layouts that I posted in August, 2003 images have disappeared for some reason. lol
2. The last layout you posted here
3. Your favorite layout ( I know it is hard to choose from your "children.")
Picking my favorite from 49 gallery pages is pretty impossible! lol So, here is my favorite today!
4. The layout you consider most outside your "box" or "comfort zone."
When I was a former CT member, I had to do tons of layouts outside my comfort zone. This is one because I did it with a different digi scrapping program than the one I normally use. It took me forever!
5. The layout you wish you could re-do.
I have tons of paper layouts from the beginning that I wish I could redo. This site has taught me so much!
6. The layout you would be most likely to submit to a scrapping publication.
7. The layout your family likes best or the one you most wanted to share with family
When my Grandpa passed in 2006, my Mom wanted my brother and I to say something at his funeral. I am a weepy one and I knew I couldn't get up and talk about him, so I made this layout to remember him and we put it in a frame and set it by the coffin.
8. The layout where you used your least favorite color as the dominant color of the layout.
Don't know why, but I hate yellow (most shades, except for light, butter yellow). I never scrap with it unless it is for a challenge or it is the only color I can see looking right with the photos. lol
9. The layout that has your best photo(s) on it.
I am not a good photographer. DH takes most of the best photos I use in my scrapping. But, I liked this one so much I made it a full page. lol
10. The layout that has your most heartfelt journaling on it.
A very sad year in my life...My Christmas Wish for no more death and loss.
