On the "tradition" band wagon from Ann's Challenge....

do any of ya'll have any NSD Traditions? Like you always do this EVERY NSD?

For me, its breakfast time. This year was the 3rd NSD in a row that DH made me homemade waffles for breakfast, with strawberries on top.

How about you? If this is your first NSD, what would you like to continue doing for each NSD?

I guess my tradition would be that I vow every year I'll quit doing so much for my kids that they rely on me on NSD to get stuff for them, lol.

Maybe my tradition would be that I get myself some chocolate each year!  This year, I got some Raisenets and Toffifay!

I have NEVER missed a crop at ACOT since I joined!  And I have been here over 6 years!!!  I guess I will stick around till the end!!!

This is not really a tradition, but the crop always happens at one of the busiest times of the year for me and I am always stressed out at this time. I would like to be able to be more at ease for the crop if it were possible.

Does telling my husband to cook for himself count?

I always have chocolate and coke! Also I make my DH take care of the meals and kids on this day, well he offered this year didn't even have to ask him lol.

This is my 2nd ACOT NSD crop. I don't know if I have a tradition as of yet. I guess stocking up on snacks and pizza for dinner could be one.

The only one I can think of is wearing my Cherry on top T-shirt.
I think they sold the right before NSD last year. Is that right?
If so this is the second year in a row that I've worn mine on NSD.

So sorry to hear that Donna! What I don't like is when NSD falls the day before Mother's Day. Those are rough!

I guess my only tradition is to give my DH plenty of advance notice so he knows it is my day and not to expect us to go anywhere or for me to make any meals.  Speaking of meals - I think it's almost time to find the take out menu and have him call in and pick up my dinner!!  LOL!!!
