I have scrapped the lyrics to that song!scrappinmom99 wrote:Some of you may know that I'm a freelance copy editor. My kids say this should be my theme song. What has this to do with scrapbooking? I'm hoping to make things fun, like Weird Al.

Laura, that's awesome! Is it in the gallery?? I want to see it! I need to scrap the lyrics to this song! I haven't yet. I did scrap a layout about me being a copy editor but it was more based on a school project Aisling did when she was in preK. I just love Weird Al. I'm so glad we have 2nd generation fans in the house too LOL!Laura wrote:I have scrapped the lyrics to that song!scrappinmom99 wrote:Some of you may know that I'm a freelance copy editor. That makes me happy! Speaking of Happy - have they seen his video for Tacky? It's so funny. The lady in the elevator is the voice of Mabel on Gravity Falls if they watch that.Sara M. wrote:I watched this with my boys and they LOVED it...they are no walking around my house singing it....lol
Stay tuned to see what it is! And I don't text as much as the kids do but when I use the voice feature (and I am really not good at the keyboard on the phone. I am a touch typist so...yeah...) I feel like my reputation is on the line for using proper English LOL! I was the kid who would correct the teachers...and be right. In other words, Hermione!debamas wrote:I've not seen that video before. I must share it with a few family members. Sadly, we seem to fall into the trap of slang and do not pay attention to how and what we are saying on our new tools of social networking. I'd hate to write an English paper right now as I'd certainly couldn't do it correctly without help, LOL! For your challenge, it'll be interesting to see what you have us come up with! I will be watching!
ROFL!!! That's awesome!! Speaking of big dictionaries...and maybe this started me on my path...when I turned six, one of the little boys at my party gave me a Children's Dictionary. I was so mad!!! What is this!? And then it had pictures and the backstory of the English language! I read that thing like a regular book. I still have it LOL!average_kim wrote:
Psst--I have a secret--I LOVE big dictionaries! heehee!
Well, I will say it's more about seeing words differently than about proper grammar. I don't want to scare anybody. Suddenly everybody will be eating dinner from 4-5pm LOL!!!jlparkmark wrote:I love weird al, but never saw this one! Adorable! Thank You! As for your clue? Hm, is it a Journaling challenge using proper grammar?
The very ending of the video showed the words "Weird Al has a big dictinary" so I just had to . . .scrappinmom99 wrote:ROFL!!! That's awesome!!
