OH Anne- Marie you make me feel so much better, my son is only in 2nd grade and I am still working on PreK stuff and my daughter is 2 years old and I have not even completed a layout about her!  I will have to pull some stuff out and take a picture.  Like you I have bunches in all different places!  Ugh!

I am not that organized and am not sure if I have missed some stuff, but I think I do have it all together from our Disney trip last summer. I really appreciate this challenge! I will try and see if there is anything else, but otherwise I am good to go!

Here's my ephmera, what's left of it that I haven't scrapped. It includes a Harley sticker from my trip to Idaho, an Epcot ticket from 1986, a scrolled letter from my mother, a badge from my old scrapbook group, and a handwritten Christmas letter from my husband.

Ephemera/memorabilia is actually the one thing I have a decent organization system for. I have tons, so I keep it mostly in this box in folders labeled with the place and date.  What hasn't been filed is stacked in front.
I have no idea why the photo is sideways...

OOOH thanks~  this reminds me!  When my son moved out and I thoroughly cleaned to move my scrap room in, I saved a shoe box of little things like school slips, an essay, bus passes, a note from a friend, old valentines etc... I will post the pic tonight.

I don't really scrap those items...
usually I will just take a photo of something....and maybe scrap that photo...the actual items go in each girls big tub of stuff....so that they can have it later in life
 

Sometimes I do that, if the thing is bulky or otherwise not scrapbookable. My kids end up handing me everything to scrap at this point so some of it is not really savable LOL! (or shouldn't be...)

I have several craft type boxes with things I mean to use, and don't. Like ticket stubs, golf scores, flowers, etc.I really do have good intentions when I save them!

    See, things just tucked. Postcards, tickets, maps, everything, lol.
 

Oh I think we all have good intentions LOL! And I really did LOL about the golf scores....me too!!! Because heaven forbid you forget to mention who got a hole in one or something like that!

Hoping to use some of this ephemera from our Punta Cana, Dominican Republic trip for the crop.

I like to keep it in on my scrap desk in this bowl so I remember to use some.

I arrange mine by year.  I keep a timeline in Excel.  They go in by years in the page protectors you get when you purchase an album.  I have the majority of items from trips, tickets, etc. arranged like this.  Then when I'm working on that year/event/happening I know what to get!


 

That's a great system!! I never thought to use Excel but I'm sure that makes it easier to find what you're looking for. I have school stuff sorted by year in the folders but anything else................that's the problem for me. There is literally a box of STUFF in my scrap area and there is no rhyme or reason to it. I need to tackle that!

Is that Harry Potter stuff I see?? What supplies are you using to scrap that? We went to see the Harry Potter Exhibit twice when it came to NYC. Once for my 40th b-day and another just because it came back.

LOL! It is so easy to fall behind on school layouts. School is one of the themes I get scrapper's block on. Or just get overwhelmed by how much there is to document. Maybe I will have a school album finished before DS graduates HS LOL!!!
