I consider him news. My husband is a wrestling fanatic something awful. The Rock is about the only thing we overlap in any regards to that 'sport' as far as liking anyone from it. Total EYE CANDY!! LOVE HIM!!!!!jrrah4903 wrote:Ummmm, well this is important news!! Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson had his birthday Saturday. LOL

I honestly don't follow the news. About 2 days after the Nepal quakes, I had to block it from my trending (and it still pops up every once in a while). When they ask me why, I have to choose other. They need an option for 'too sad to process' or 'I would rather not cry today'.
The big boxing fight was here yesterday. About round 6 or 7, right after I put my boys to bed, my neighbors were apparently very excited because while inside of my house and them inside of theirs, I heard the LOUDEST screams...I nearly jumped out of my skin. Trending were photos of private jets trafficked at the airport. I'm glad I wasn't travelling yesterday.

I saw this briefly...Does she have a name yet??CarrieG wrote:new princess was born!
The only news I really watched was who The Philadelphia Eagles drafted. You probably aren't interested being on the west coast of PA. Are you a Steelers fan?

no name yet...........very curious what they will name her!
Oooh, here's one for my husband.
CLIPPERS ADVANCE TO THE SECOND ROUND AFTER A 2 POINT BUZZER BEATER IN GAME 7. He was thrilled. He was sad he missed the last minute and had to wait in suspense to find out, but was absolutely excited considering they barely eeked out their victory in game 6 to tie the series back up.

I heard about the fight and that some famous boxer (forgive me, with 3 kids and DH distracting me while I cook supper, etc. I forgot who!) said it was not worth the pre-hype and he was "underwhelmed."redsonic20 wrote:I honestly don't follow the news. I don't get the hype at all. I only opened up live updates for each round after my neighbors scared the crap out of me. I can't believe people pay $100 for a PPV for something with 12 3 minute rounds. That is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. You can go to a bar and probably watch more interesting drunk fights than boxing. I just can't believe how incredibly short a boxing match it...I don't understand the point of all that for one fight. Maybe an 'opening band' like headliners have in concerts, but for one fight? I'm glad I'm not a fan nor ever cared enough to even follow it.average_kim wrote:I heard about the fight and that some famous boxer (forgive me, with 3 kids and DH distracting me while I cook supper, etc. I forgot who!) said it was not worth the pre-hype and he was "underwhelmed."redsonic20 wrote:I honestly don't follow the news.
