I'm here. I have no idea what "tube class" is, but I bought some tubes yesterday. I am ready to learn something new!

I haven't bought any of these yet, but I'm anxious to see what you do with them. I'm thinking of doing one for Christmas with reindeer food so I'll be saving this thread.
Gonna just sit back and watch this one. Then get my tubes.

we'll be doing 3 Tube projects today. You'll need to gather some tubes, adhesives, favorite papers, twine, scissors, buttons.
I want to thank Ashley N. and Lauralooloo for these project ideas

I have a couple tubes that I ordered a while ago, not really sure what to do with them. Can't wait to see what you've done with them.

For those of us that prefer repurposing if at all possible... I'm thinking tic tac containers???
I'm excited to see this class. I don't have the tubes, yet, so I'll be watching!

To make the first tube project -- Happy Trails Trail Mix - you will need to cut a 2" circle from Kraft cardstock like this
I have some tubes left from my daughter's birthday party last year. I put hot cocoa mix with marshmellows in it. I decorated them with the Be Mine line from Echo Park. They were a big hit with the 11 year olds. I'm so glad I can use up what left today.

To create the tag, use a word programming software. Before you get started, download some free fun cowboy fonts. I found so many that I liked, but I settled with a font called, Serial Publication, for my text, and a dingbat font called WeLoveAmericasWisdom. (A dingbat font is simply a font of images and graphics. It's perfect for projects like this!) My finished tag is about a 2-inch circle, so I created a text box of a similar size in Microsoft Word, and typed "Happy Trails". Then I pulled the cowboy from my dingbat font.
I printed the tag on a light kraft colored cardstock, and used my die-cutting machine to create the circle, plus a slightly larger circle for matting. You could also use circle punches, or a stencil to create your circles.

I used scissors to distress both circles. Open your scissors all the way, and carefully scrape the scissors along the edge of the cardstock. (Scruffing and bending it up with your fingernails works pretty well too!)
I know I'm moving along quickly here, but we have 2 more tube projects to make. All of these instructions will be available as an tutorial article after the crop.
Next, adhere the two layers together. Next, I used a piercing tool and poked holes around the edges to finish it off. If you don't have a piercing tool, a pushpin works too. (Be sure to put a pad of paper or a mousepad under your project so that you don't pierce your work surface!)

Watching closely but STILL haven't gotten to get out my scrapping stuff yet...
