ok, tried reducing the pic size in my camera, that isn't small enough. can anyone explain how to post a pic to a thread?

Upload your pic to the gallery first. Right mouse click the photo after you submit and copy the URL. Then come back here and click on the photo icon, and paste the URL.

Help - I don't see how to add my picture? When I select add image, it wants a URL?? Do I have to post the picture to my blog first??

Either your blog, or here in the gallery. Then right click on the picture, and copy the URL. That's the one you need to paste into the thread here using the photo icon.

I got the picture in the gallery, but when I try to copy the url into my post it just puts an "x" where the picture should be??

And thanks for the help- I didn't really need to copy the url - just copy and paste the picture!

Don't copy/paste directly into your post. Click on the picture icon in the header. Then paste your URL.

better late than never... just learned how to post a pic! ... the neatest thing about my area are the pictures... they are all straight and i actually dusted them a week ago!
