Hello everyone! It's time for your challenge #5! Now I hope everyone saw that they were going to need some magnets, cuz here's the challenge using them!
It's a pretty easy one, all you need to do is make a bookmark, any theme, any picture, whatever you like, paper, digi, hybrid, all of it is good. For the paper one I made, I used a 12x12 piece of paper cut a strip 2 inches by 12 inches and folded it in half. You are more than welcome to make it smaller or bigger or even in a different shape, as you'll see in one of Kristi's awesome examples! For the paper one, I just added in a little heart, cuz I liked the paper already, and than stuck a magnet at the bottom of each end, and voila, a bookmark that you wrap around a page, and it stays! Now please add, how you decorate it, don't make it too thick, otherwise it may be a bit wide for your book, and a thicker cardstock will work better, they won't rip as easily.
For the digital ones since I was printing them out, they were made on an 8x11.5 size, and I made three to a page. Same thing applies as the paper one pretty much. Choose how you want to make them, design them up, remembering that you will be folding them in half, so I only decorated half of the bookmark. Once you like them, print them out and cut them out, again, use a thicker cardstock to print on, and attach the two magnets to the ends, and booksmarks again!
So it's easy peasy and they are great for kids or adults who love to read. Here are some example from me and Kristi. If you have questions, let me know! Show us what you made in this thread, as well as in the Challenge #5 gallery spot.
Good luck guys!
