I get my kids back tomorrow for Mother's Day!!!!! My brother invited us over by him...and I am thinking of taking him up on it! I plan on taking it a bit easier that day.

My plans are just to get through the day. Tomorrow is a year since my mom passed away (I've been having a really hard time dealing with this a lot lately). DH has to work all day, and he's not good at planning anything anyway, so not really any Mother's Day plans for me. I'm just hoping DD will let me play at the crop.

my niece is making brunch and included me in the day... thinking of going even though I'd be missing the crop... she's a good cook and has a champagne brunch for Mothers Day/Fathers Day every year, I may be a fool to miss it

My son is coming with his girlfriend tomorrow. We're getting takeout, since eating out on Mothers Day is such a hassle around here. The menus are different, the service is poor, and the crowds are just too big. We'll have a more enjoyable time eating at home.

I wish I could say scraping all day, but that is not the case. Brunch with inlaws and grilling with my family at our house for dinner. Hoping to sneak on a little!

Yay and boo for some of you!

This is my second Mother's Day as a single mom....so I don't have big plans. Last year I just decided to stay home and relax with the kids. Ex has them for the weekends of Mother's Day, so I at least get them on the Sunday!!!! But, like I wrote...I may take up my brother on his offer of heading out by him!

My DD#1 and her BF will meet us at the restaurant at 3, where we are taking MIL (i'd prefer to order in and scrap) I convinced DH to go golfing instead of staying home with me in the morning, this way I can scrap till the last minute!

Then rush home to scrap some more! hehe

It's also dh's birthday, but we're just laying low and going out for pizza in the evening and watching the Red Wings hopefully win. We're partying tonight at my sister's (an engagement part/mexican fiesta) and Monday we're going to Frankenmuth for a famous Chicken dinner.
