Heidi-well, I applied for their first ever design team call and made the team. A short while later they asked me to coordinate the team. Then I was asked to do other things like the blog and our newsletters and attend the trade shows...soon it worked into a full-time job!

Jody-I've been to trade shows for the last 5 or 6 years. We used to have 3 a year, but it is down to 2 a year now. That is when we do our big NEW reveal of products.

As far as traveling...I've been all over the US teaching and in Europe and countries in Asia. We have some trips lined up for japan, Australia and maybe Puerto Rico.

I just have to say that I love the new Prima papers that just came out. they are just gorgeous! my favorite is a toss up between the Raspberry Tea and the Shabby Chic

Sounds like a dream job to me. And that apron is super cute!

My issue is that I have a husband, a little boy, and 3 male cats and I can't stop buying all those gorgeous flowers and bling! Do you have any advice for those of us trying to work with girly products in our masculine worlds?

Heidi-you are really sweet, but you know what? I LOVE looking in galleries. I see SO MUCH amazing talent out there! I'm glad so many people love this hobby!

oh I am so jealous of all the traveling! I love to travel! what is the coolest place you have been? one that you would like to go back to maybe for vacation?

I also love those two lines! They are right up my alley!

And maybe you gals don't know, but I do have 4 sons! My teens do not like flowers on their pages, but my younger boys don't mind. I think we have some great products available for a flower-free layout too!

I love the pebbles gem stones. They are all so pretty!

I only have a son too and he is not girly. Luckily I have 2 female doggies and a bunch of sisters so I am able to use the girly stuff.
