yeah don't worry about it, if you have extras you could switch to a totally different shade of brown, otherwise, just pay attention when you glue the patterns on so that you alternate cardstock AND patterns. Actually in this case, alternating patterns is less important than alternating cardstock. the two different browns might look weird from the side if you dont alternate every other one, KWIM?
I added links to my other calendars, one where I used multiple colors of cardstock and the other I just used cardboard for the pages. But I think that the rings I specified might be too small to make cardboard pages for this project.

oh you have a new ATG! congrats! I love mine! but yeah loading can be a trick at first. dont worry about being behind, I think a lot of people are just reading and planning to do it later.
I LOVE this Meg! I'm thinking I may have to make calendars for the family for Christmas! We're not giving gifts this year, but I think they'd forgive me if they were handmade!
thanks to the three newbies who like the project! it is really easy and inexpensive, perfect for gifts! the hardest part for me was making the calendar file, but that's done for you!

I can't wait to read through this, Meg! I bought all the supplies for it.

This is so awesome. I think I will see if I can't whip some of these out. I have a big family and don't buy for them but this would be great for all the ladies to put on their desks. Teacher gifts too!! Can't wait to get settled in (lol) and do this.
