I like cards but I especially like embellies like tags, journal boxes, etc.  I think it's fun when you can make a cute embellie and then use it on a challenge page!

Imageby koala1966 on 21 Apr 2009 10:06 I prefer the fast scraps that help me get a layout done - like make a page border or journaling box, or embellish chipboard, etc. that I can use on a layout later.

I agree with Tania here - since I'll never get one done and posted in an hour, I like something that will help me finish a 12x12 page.

"I liked the one we did with the chipboard and then later on we had to use it on a layout,
I like the menu ones ex. 8 flowers, 5 buttons, 3 pictures, etc..
I like the suggestion about the photo hunt! (then maybe we can use them on a LO on another fast scrap) "

I like these suggestions... and deerewife's suggestion of doing progressive scraps - that would be fun!
I aldo agree about using things on a layout - like a border or a journaling box or maybe a fancy title
I love to do cards!  They are fast (and Mother's Day is coming, right?)
I really liked that little notepad holder, too.

I LOOOVE anything altered!!  The magnets, the bookmark, the chipboard, the memo pad, the calling cards, the boxes, etc,

I get a little tired doing a card all the time, but 1 or 2 is OK.

I can't get a lo done in an hour ---I always skip those!!!!

I like the idea that Jules had about the countdown layout.  Also like to do the ones that you can use on a layout later, embellished chipboard, etc.

I like the cards! Since both Mothers and Fathers day are approaching, that would be 2 good ones.

Me too!

Can I just add that having me try to fold paper into various shapes (like a box, or bag) in the early hours of the morning didn't go over too well. I am folding-impaired when I am not fully awake! :-D

I love the fast scraps (although I never finish in time!) but, like Laurie, I only like to do layouts that I can use, which is why it takes me awhile to find pictures and stuff.  SO, my answer would be layouts, a lot of pictures, one picture, tons of flowers, ribbons, etc., I love to scraplift a challenge!

I really liked making a bookmark last crop. My daughter still uses it. I also like sketches and LOs.

Re: What Kind Of Fast Scraps
I like layout fast scraps. The post-it note covers and boxes were cute and great ideas, but not something I'll use so I skipped over those hours.

I enjoy using song lyrics, themes with an unusual twist (use a "spring" type item on a boy's layout for example), a certain number of items (like the Use your Stash challenges), or photo requirements (take a photo of yourself right then and scrap it)

I like ones like cards, magnets, bookmarks, any altered item really. I like the photography fast scrap idea! I don't really like to do layouts for fast scraps...I can't do them fast!

Re: What Kind Of Fast Scraps
I don't think it was the last crop, but maybe the one before.. you had a FS to make a mini gift bag using a 8.5x11 piece of paper.. that was fun and useful :) It can be made with any theme and used for a small gift. everyone that saw mine, loved it.. it was on display at the LSS for a while.

What about doing a mini layout on a used CD? That would be cute hanging in your craft area. put a ribbon at the top to hang it from.

Altering a piece of chipboard to perhaps use on a card or layout.

make A MINI journaling tag.

Thats all I got right now.. :)

Re: What Kind Of Fast Scraps
I am another vote for doing things that we can use. Tho I do like to do things like frames which I can give as gifts later. One idea I had was a mini album you could include on a layout later....one of those hidden photos type thing...I love that idea, but no idea how to accomplish it.

But agree that I can't do a layout in an hour, so I don't attempt those :-)

But the Fast Scraps are one of my fave things of the crops!

I have never done one during the crop, but I did go back and read them last time and actually did the bookmark.  I loved it.  So much, that I am going to try to do some of them this time. So no real ideas from me.

Ditto what she said... It's hard for me to complete a whole lo in an hour, but challenge me to do something I can use on a lo later, it would be easier for me to participate.

This sounds like a great idea. I'm a new mother and I'm lucky to make a page in two sittings. If I could make a few things that I can add to a page quickly, I might get through a few pages quicker.
