**Easy Peasy Hybrid Calendar Project Thread**
Here's a great quick project from the Digi Shoppe. This is Kim Hill's CD Case Calendar Set. It's on sale for DSD for only $2.55!

You get twelve Month Titles, Twelve Date Grids & Five Borders. Here's a preview:

The great thing about these is the versatility of them. You don't have to be a seasoned digi scrapper to use these templates. Just open one of the month templates, drop your photo underneath, resize it and you're done!

If you are a digi scrapper and would like something more detailed, here's what I did. I took some of my layouts and adapted them to fit the calendar pages.

This project took hardly any time at all and I have a great calendar for next year that I can keep or give away as a present!

I'll be hanging around today, so if you have any questions about this project, just post them here and I'll try my best to answer them for you.

Have fun!

I see that you are using a cd case to hold the month we are in.  Are the other months stored?  Are they printed on photo paper or heavy cardstock?
Thanks for the project!

WOW!  You never cease to amaze me, Tracy!  I have that calendar kit, and I was thinking about using it for the hybrid challenge by Keling, but I never thought about incorporating LOs into the calendar pages!

You can store the months behind each other.  I print mine on just regular white cardstock.  Bazzill and glossy would look good too :D

Thanks for the project!

I placed the other months behind the current one. I printed these on a medium weight photo paper. On other hybrid projects I've done (like cards) I used a cardstock and it was fine, but for things with pictures, you want to go with photo paper.

I got a question and thought I'd share it with all of you. The question was how do you get the cd case to stay open.

I had to go through the cd cases I had to find one that worked right. Some were too thick, some were too thin, I felt like Goldilocks! LOL!  Anyway, once you find one, you open it up and then keep going until it's backwards. So now the front of the cd case is facing the back of the cd case.
