 Curious what it's all about?  Basically the idea would be using the same elements on both sides of the layout and carrying them across the layout to make the 2-pager look like one long page.  I find that unless I use a sketch with a 2-pager, my layouts tend to look unbalanced.  This class will give you ideas to tie things together on both sides of the layout! 

This class will be on Saturday, August 23rd at 6pm. 

SNEAK PEAK (using girl line):


I used the Autumn Leaves "Cuteworld" line:  http://www.acherryontop.com/company/aut ... /cuteworld  As you'll see, there is a girl line and a boy line (I'm going to do both for the class so that you can choose whichever you prefer).

Below are the paper pack item numbers - we'll be layering & using a lot of patterned paper.  I chose to use the paper packs because that way you can swap out papers you like/dislike.  You'll have enough paper to duplicate the class - total bargain for $6.99!!  I'm also planning to use the rub-ons listed below and the Cuteworld Journaling Stickers (I'm using the girl set on the boy & girl layouts, but you can choose boy or girl depending on your preference).  Other embellishments are your choice - there are some seriously cute stitched felt embellishments in the shoppe!  I'm going to use ribbons, buttons, flowers, etc. that I have on hand as well - I'm sure you've all got some of these in your stash as well!  Lastly, you'll need two pieces of coordinating cardstock for the backgrounds & one piece for the cardstock mats- I'm leaving color choices up to you though!

Don't worry about the paper pack not being available, all but one of the shimmery papers is available in the shoppe, and you can use one sheet of the dot shimmery paper for the same effect (I used the shimmery papers as my photo mats).  I listed all of the Cuteworld items I used below and it looks like there are at least a few sheets of each still available.  For embellishments I chose to use the rub-ons & journaling stickers, as you'll see listed below, but there are a lot of fun embellishments in the shoppe as well!

In addition to these products, I also used the following:

-2 sheets of white cardstock
-1 sheet of "strawberry colored cardstock" - basically a reddish pink color, light green or blue would also work well
-coordinating flowers & buttons
-white chipboard (I painted mine) for your title
-some coordinating ribbon (for chipboard title)
-a few pieces of bling (for chipboard title)
