On my photo of the outer paper you will see that it is white... that is the inside part and the pattern for the outside of my box is on the reverse.
That is completely up to you... You just want to make sure that whatever pattern you choose goes well with the pattern you choose for a cover. Both large and small look great!scrapbelle wrote: Is it better to use a small or large pattern for the outside?
The number really isn't important. You could potentially make the box with only 4 sheets of cardstock. The amount of patterns you use is all about variety and I like a lot of that!scrapprincess18 wrote: 6 patteren sheets jess?
Everyone cool with their papers and pencil lines? I don't want to go too fast but not too slow either!
I am going to do this later...it looks like so much fun...I've always wanted to try it anyway!!!!!!

I'm set...

I've got them all drawn over here.
OK DONE! Just kidding.
Now, using a paper trimmer or ruler and craft knife, cut out the four corners so that you are left with a cross shape. Set aside all cut pieces for later use when you’re embellishing the pages.

If life gives you lemons, go find an annoying person with paper cuts.
Yes! JUST on your cover sheet!scrapbelle wrote: i've got mine done....just one sheet, right?
When you have the corners cut you can:
Score the four remaining lines in the center to create the walls of your box, making sure that the side with your preferred outside pattern is in fact on the outside. Gently erase the pencil lines. Set aside.
